Description of Work: The guys did a great job and where very personable, professional and neat!! I put a B on responsiveness because it did take over 6 weeks for them to do the work because they are very busy. That of course is also a testament to the fact that they are very good so you will need to plan ahead somewhat. I will definitely use them again!

Description of Work: The crew showed up right on time and went right to work. They removed a large pear tree and a smaller dead plum tree. Also, ground both stumps and filled the holes. Cleaned up the whole area!! Very professional! Three trucks, five men, all necessary equipment and finished very quickly. All that and a great price. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

CS was on time, quick, thorough, flexible (adjusted to my request to change the schedule) and even did some extra work - cleaning up and shredding a bunch of debris I had waiting for the city refuse collection - without asking. They did more than I asked at the same price as their original estimate.
Description of Work: CS removed a large tree, chipped away the stump and chipped a couple of other stumps.

+ 0 moreThey started at 9:30 AM and finished up about 6:PM. It was a long day; one in which they stayed busy almost the whole time. The day started by removing side limbs off the maple tree using a bucket truck. They immediately took the limbs to the mulcher which kept the area neat and orderly. After that, they took the trunk down using ropes to guide it to it's resting place on the lawn. They took the sweet gums down in the same way, but it took a lot longer and they actually had to climb the tallest sweet gum, hook a pulley system to each branch, and take them down one large branch at a time. My four year old son watched them for most of the day. He was fascinated (as was I) at the whole process. They left us with as much mulch as we wanted and even cut up some branches for fire wood for us.,
Description of Work: They removed three trees for us. One was a large diseased maple, and two were large sweet gum trees. One of the sweet gum trees was extremely tall! Much taller than our two story house. These trees were close to our house and near our backyard chain link fence, and neither one got a scratch.

+ -1 moreAfter wind storms, we had two large pine trees break, one at the root and the other half way up. Steven was prompt to estimate and return to remove trees. When he arrived with chainsaw, I asked if he could trim two additional high stumps left from previous owners and he was happy to assist with no notice. It is such a breathe of fresh to work with someone who truly wished to help. We highly recommend CS Tree Services and will use them again in the future.

+ -1 moreWe called several tree services about a large old maple out front, and while the others did call back, Steve actually came by the house and left an estimate and a copy of his insurance papers, as well as calling. His estimate was spot on and he and his crew took down the tree. Preserving the dogwoods and Japanese maples growing around the old maple and then ground the stump and cleaned up our yard. Great work. Reasonable price. Great attitude.
Description of Work: Steve removed an old maple tree that had died in our front yard, ground the stump, and cleaned up. All without damaging the dogwoods and Japanese maples that were growing around the old maple. Some of which were directly below it.

+ -1 moreEXCELLENT! After the FREE estimate visit, itemized quote was provided within 3 working days. They agreed to finish work in 2 days. Watching this process was amazing. They planned carefully to avoid damaging our garage, deck, and fence (all within 5-10 feet of the trees in question). They worked as a team and like a machine! Not a shingle nor a plank were harmed in the process. Pictures attached.
Description of Work: Estimated for felling 5 pine trees (all over 18'' diameter, more than 4 stories high), felled trees. Removed logs, cleaned up debris. Returned our yard to original state.
