They were terrific. They were extremely safety conscious. They had elaborate assistance for their folks because they had to climb up n to the trunk. There were minimal chances of anyone getting hurt. All of them who came here were extremely professional. They were four or five of them. I watched them do the work. Anytime I had a question they answered why they were doing that way. They were quite professional. I would use them in the future.

He was very good and I would use him again in the future.

The overall experience was excellent. Steve came out to take a look and give me an estimate. He's very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He shared his concerns about the large tree, and explained the risks in waiting a year (like I was thinking about) without pushing me to decide one way or the other. The crew, maybe 5 or 6 guys, showed up on time and got to work. I walked the yard with one of the crew, confirming the work order. The team then got started. A few of the trees had to be dropped very carefully to avoid damage to other trees. The crew used lines to control how those trees fell, and used the winch on the chipper with a rolling log rig to get the trees up the hill to the driveway. They were generally very careful to avoid damaging the ground, though some wear and tear was unavoidable. The large tree in the back was the biggest challenge. Chris went up the tree to drop it in pieces, being careful to have the limbs fall with minimal damage to surrounding plants. All of the limbs and leaves were cleaned up with rakes and blowers. Everything was either chipped or cut into pieces and hauled away. They did a great job with the cleanup. All told, they were here for about 6 hours, not including their break for lunch. I've had these guys out to do work before, and I'll do it again in the future. Top notch.

contacted company and spoke with Steve. Tree not in way so we set a removal for the next week. Date had to be changed but was set for a time that worked for us. Steve and crew arrive on time did work quickly and professionally. when job completed Steve had us check that everything was done to our satisfaction. all was done and more. the back area had been neatly cleaned up. an old stump had been remove and we weren't charged. amount was just what we had contracted for. the company and Steve was a pleasure to do business with and we will us them in the future.

They arrived as scheduled, let us know that they were there, and went right to work. They removed 24 saplings and small pine trees and ground all the stumps (they included some old stumps). They also removed dead or broken limbs from 4 large oaks and pine trees. They were careful not to damage any of our numerous shrubs and flower beds or our aluminum fence. Our deck and lawn were covered with leaves and they blew all the leaves into our natural area. They also cleaned up the driveway and completed all the work in 2 hours. We were very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them to others.

Since CS Tree Services had performed some some work for me before, I asked them to come and do the work while I was away, knowing that there would be no surprises when I came home. They performed the work exactly as I had requested and cleaned up the area completely.

The walk-through estimate was very thorough. I explained what I was interested in and he made note, but also offered suggestions explaining what would be best for long term health of my trees. Very nice and knowledgeable. The work was scheduled, but had to be rescheduled due to bad weather. It required a bit of phone tag between us to get a new date nailed down. When the date came, the crew was quick and clean. All work was completed as written in the estimate. They blew away sawdust and leaves from the roof and ground; removed all limbs and debris. They did leave a pole saw behind, but it was in a hard-to-see area of my yard and easily overlooked. After a quick call, they came back and picked it up within a few days. Excellent service overall. Very informative and professional.

Service went great, they arrived when they said they would and moved things out of the way that we should have. Work was done neatly and they left mulch for us. Everything was put back neatly, debris was taken away and yard was blown clean. They also hauled away an old wooden swing for us! Great company! With a 2 1/2 acre property that is heavily wooded we will definitely use them again.

Steve came out to give us an estimate and did a very thorough walk around our property with us, noting exactly what we wanted done to each tree and making suggestions. He then wrote us the quote and said they would be able to do it the next week. We were able to schedule the service to be performed early the next week. The crew arrived on time and got right to work. They did a wonderful job and were very careful to protect our property from falling limbs. We especially liked the clean-up job they did after the pruning. They even raked and blew leaves off our grass (which had many leaves on it before they started the job). The crew of 4 men, led by Chris, were all very nice and polite. We would definitely recommend CS Tree Services to any of our friends.

Steven did a detailed written estimate. Crew of about 4 was very responsive to my special requests. Good quality work. Steven (a certified arborist) was one of the crew working on site. They were careful not to damage nearby overhead lines. To avoid damaging a small fence, they temporarily removed it and then re-installed it after the tree work was complete. This kind of attention to detail is great, and that's why I would rate this experience with "A". Cleanup was also good, they cleaned up leaves, sawdust, etc very nicely using backpack blowers.

Steve from CS was our primary point of contact and he was very professional. We received multiple bids for our tree work. We chose CS even though they were not the low bid because we felt comfortable with their reviews on Angies List and they were going to use a crane to remove the biggest and most difficult to access trees on our property. I would have given CS all "A's" but we had a frustrating time getting the work completed b/c CS had multiple pieces of equipment break down the day before they were going to complete our job. This forced us to reschedule other vendors that could not complete their work until the trees were gone and the stumps were ground. Steve was apologetic and rescheduled the work for the following week. The work itself was A++ and I was sorry I wasn't there to watch it. CS was very careful not to disturb other parts of our property and get an excellent job cleaning up. I would use CS again and have referred them to neighbors who watched and were impressed by their work on my property.

Steve provided the quote and Chris lead the team to fell the trees. In order to have a proper path to fell the large poplar they needed to remove an equally tall pine at their request. There was slight damage to a mature maple that could have been avoided had they "topped out" the poplar before dropping it. Chris was not comfortable with the climb to do this and did a fantastic job in pruning the damage out of the maple. They were fast, effecient, and very professional. When it came time to settle up I presented the Angie's List coupon and Chris asked if I would consider the extra pine instead. They were so good and did a few extra things for me I did not argue. This is a professional aborist and deserve the money they charge. I hope they are in business in six or seven years when I need more work done.

They performed the work on the date stated, did a great job of clean up and removal of the stump and trees. Cleaned up afterwards, and provided a concise correct invoice

It couldn't have gone better. The crew worked efficiently and steadily in 95-degree heat and completed all the items in the estimate plus a couple of other things I asked them to do, all within the eight-hour time frame Stephen had predicted. Stephen was pleasant and obliging throughout and clearly wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the job done. I was and am; and I am pleased to have had such a good experience.

I had called CS to get a price on removing a very large oak that had some bark coming off its trunk. I was concerned that this oak, which is about 15 feet from my house and towers over it might be diseased and ready to come down in a storm. Several other tree services had already given me prices. Steve, a certified arborist, came out and looked the tree over. He told me that he thought the tree was still healthy and recommended that we just keep an eye on it and perhaps consider fortifying the soil to help feed the roots. He said that the canopy growth had no signs of distress. I was impressed that he was more concerned with saving a great tree than with making a quick buck. He then gave me his opinion on the best way to deal with another oak that was leaning toward the house. Again, he said the tree was healthy, the roots looked to be in good shape, and that removing some of the heavier limbs on one side would relieve some of the pressure on the tree to go in that direction. All-in-all I was impressed by both Steve and Tim's knowledge and interest in preserving trees whenever possible.

Great job. Very safety oriented and they did a great clean-up job. I would definitely use again and recommend to others.

Stephen is friendly and knowledgeable. When he was running a few minutes late, he called to let me know. At this point, I just need to keep an eye on the trees. He didn't charge me for his time and service call.

Stephen came out to do the estimate several days after my first call. Apparently, they'd been really busy and he didn't call back right away. When he came, however, he took the time to walk the property and educate me about our trees, tell me about disease prevention etc. I didn't even know the names of some of our trees. He did! Then he spent a long while writing out a very detailed estimate (my husband liked this very much!), showed me his insurance coverage info and encouraged me to call or fax for verification. His estimate came in lower than the other one for a little more work. Their crew, led by Chris, was working nearby the next day and came out and got the job done in about 2.5 hours; made sure to ask if I liked what they'd done, finished to my satisfaction, even trimmed some dead limbs from my pines that I didn't ask them to touch (at no extra charge!) and thoroughly cleaned up behind themselves. Great experience; fine work.

They responded in a timely manner with an estimate and a time for doing the work. They had to re-schedule because of rain, but put me on the schedule for the next day. Their price was comparable to others (A=comparable). They were easy to talk with and were very professional. I like that some of the crew are certified arborists which allowed them to answer my specific questions. They cut the large Pine tree and cleaned up the River Birch with no problems. They left the pine mulch per my request. They cleaned up after themselves. Overall they did a wonderful job, I highly recommend them and I would use them again.

Steve was great to work with when estimating and talking about the job at the outset. The work crew was punctual, they did a terrific job, cleaned everything up and took it away. The job was so well done, I'd gladly use them again and also recommend them.

The boys arrived on time, probably 7-8 of them. Worked all day from 9-5 when I had leave, and they were nearly finished, maybe an hour left. The yard looked great the next morning. The guys 'borrowed' our neighbors' driveway to cut down some of the distance to carry the logs/branches, but took extreme care to make sure there was no sawdust left in their yard. At first, I thought the estimate might have been a bit high, but the group was efficient, hard-working and very thoughtful of the street traffic, neighbors, and clean up. I would certainly consider their services again.
