A crew of five workers arrived on time and set to work on the plan which had been made previously during an appointment for an estimate. They worked efficiently and expertly to trim the trees. They had large equipment on site - a bucket truck, chipper and dump truck, and a small bobcat -type of machine to move the branches and debris to the chipper. They finished the work on time and kept working without fuss despite the rain which started to fall. They were safe in their approach to the work. I felt the house and property, as well as the workers, were safe while the work was going on. The appearance of the trees at the finish was remarkable in that the trees still maintained an appropriate look for each species. Clearly they were trained arborists. I was pleased with their work and would hire them again.

The men came over as they agreed to, on time.They went to work laying to necessary tools and equipment out to get started. The men were cordial and professional.They worked as well oiled team.I only needed to point out what waspreviously agreed on between the owner and myself in an earlier perusal of my area, and the rest was history. They had one man who was the lead cutter climb up the trees and cut. the other two would watch to see that things line up coorrectly.Three other men would haul away the tree cuttings to be loaded into the tree chipper. My appointment was at 12:00pm and before I knew it, there was one guy on the roof blowing off tree cuttings and leaves. The other men were packing up their equipment. It was over in about and hour and a half. When I asked about payment the lead man took a partial payment check and basically said, we will bill you later for the remaining amount. They trust of me was refreshing. Would use them again but spending money on tree cutting while necessary, sure does hurt the pocketbook.

Two weeks after I bought the Big Deal they said that I was outside of their service area and they weren't able to do the work. There was no infomation about any counties/cities that areas that they didn't service. It was disappointing. I wish that I had known ahead of time and I thought that this was misleading.

The biggest problem I had with them was a miscommunication (part of it was my fault). The estimator came out and wrote up what the job was going to be. What he wrote didn't emphasize exactly what I wanted and I didn't read the estimate thoroughly. When the crew arrived to do the work, the work done wasn't what I really needed. The workers were great and the work itself was done well, but the whole day was frustrating because of the initial miscommunication. They told me anything in addition to the estimate would require more money. I get the feeling I'm not the only one who has likely had this issue.

I responded to an offer on Angies List. An arborist came to my yard and discussed a plan with me. We scheduled a day when the work was done. It was done timely and completely. I plan to hire them to remove large trees from my yard.

The crew arrived in the morning and topped 4 Holly trees and roughly shaped them. The cut material was ground up and hauled away together with branches from a dead tree that I had previously cut down.

CS Tree Services Inc were very busy at the time we received our estimate, but since we had a job scheduled for our masonite siding to be replaced with Hardiplank, CS juggled their schedule in order to complete their job before the siding people showed up. They were professional and did not damage our property despite the challenge this presented with our home's close proximity to the trees. With regards to the cleanup activities, the area where the work was done was very clean when they left. More so than before they started! The bottom line is that the execution was flawless and I recommend this outfit without hesitation. PS. these guys love trees and gave us a lot of good advise for our future reference.

From the estimate to job completion, CS Tree Services provided us with an excellent experience. The large dead pine trees were taken down slowly and carefully, with no damage to the landscape below. As well, we left it up to Chris and his team to decide how much to thin out the overgrowth of tree saplings and scrub along the property line. They used good judgement as to how much to remove and what to remove. The job was done quickly and efficiently. They are also very accommodating and willing to listen to your concerns. They were very informative, professional, and punctual . They help me understand on how to monitor the trees. They were a little bit on the expensive side but it was worth the money that I did spend.

Everything went well. The quote was written and in detail. They presented us different options and explained what they would do and why. We were not around when the work was performed, but was pleasantly surprised that the jobsite was clean, no ruts in the lawn, and they even had used a leaf blower to clean up our driveway and sidewalk. They will be the first ones we call if we need similar work done.

I purchased a special deal ($199 for $400 worth of services), and they had a lot of response, so it took awhile to get scheduled. When they came, I was pleased with the individual that came out to evaluate the situation and talk to me about what they could do. He seemed knowledgeable and was responsive to my requests. On the day of the service, however, the crew showed up a couple of hours before the appointed time, and I was away from home when they arrived. By the time I arrived, they were well into the work. They had a crew of several people, and they had already done most of it. They didn't initially do what had been planned, not cutting off as much as I had wanted, but did more when asked. However, they didn't do a wonderful job in cleaning up (left a lot of trimmings hanging in the bushes). One shrub in particular was cut very roughly, with a lot of ugly ragged stubs left sticking up above the remaining foliage, so I had to do some more work on it myself to make it presentable. They seemed to be in a big hurry to get on to the next job, since they had scheduled several jobs in the same general area. I was left with mixed feelings about the job. On one hand, it seemed like a good deal on the surface, but on the other hand, I was left feeling that I might have still overpaid given that they were not there very long at all and didn't do a highly satisfactory job. It didn't feel like $400 worth of work, and I'm not even sure if felt like $199 worth of work. However, I don't have a lot of experience with what such work typically costs. I may have been better off hiring a general yard service company, rather than a tree service for this job, since it was expensive but didn't seem to have been done with the use of much special skill or expertise. I might call this company again if I needed actual tree service, but not for shrub trimming.

The job entailed a tall tree that the assessor said was too large for the "bargain". He agreed to do it for the extra money (I paid an extra $325 in addition to the money I paid Angie's List. The crew came when they said they would come, but the extra money was supposed to be for a couple of hours. They finished up in about an hour and fifteen minutes so I think that they way overestimated the complexity of the job. They also left behind some items which they took about two weeks to come and pick up. That didn't bother me as the items were left outside but it indicated to me a little sloppiness. After thinking it over, I would not use this crew again. I have used another tree service and will go back to using them. This experience also makes me a little leery of accepting Angie "bargains".

Excellent work. Showed up on time. Had proper equipment. Were very neat. Did not tear up the yard. Knew what they were doing. Asked if I approved and when I made one suggestion they unpacked some of the equipment and did what I asked. Really good work, real smart guys who wanted to please. They did!

CS was very professional and knowledgeable. They came when they promised, and did the work we'd agreed upon very professionally. They cleaned up very well, too. Overall, I was very pleased and would use them again.

They were on time, courteous and conscientiousness of the other landscaping around the tree.They ground the logs and the stump and left us with the chips to use around the yard as landscaping cover.The crew was very respectful and answered all our questions even as the work was ongoing.

Steve arrived on time and provided a very professional quote. He was friendly, answered all of our questions, and provided a written estimate along with a copy of their certificate of liability insurance. Having gotten another quotation and having had many trees removed over the years, CS Tree Services pricing was very good. The work was done a week later as promised. Their work was done completely to my satisfaction....very smooth removal, yard super clean, hardly could tell they had done the work, it was that good! I would recommend their services to anyone.

They are local. I used them only once. They were very good and my overall experience was very good too. The price and the quality of their work were good.

They took them out in a day. They even left the house for an hour and a half to watch a safety program – they are very safety conscious -- and they still got it done in a day. They were able to drop most the trees so that made the job easier.
