I had a willow tree that had died. It was in an awkward place between the fence, the house, and our a/c unit. Guys came up with a great way to avoid damaging my yard and keep my costs down. The whole crew were polite, easy to communicate with, and did a great job. I asked them to cut it up so that i could put it in my truck and haul it off. They did well in making sure everything was manageable. Will certainly use them again.

It was great. They are friendly and responsible. We were using a deal from Angie's list. They came to the house and reviewed what needed to be done, then scheduled a convenient time to do the work. They had a crew, all of whom were pleasant and professional. The work was done quickly and they were careful to remove all the trimmings and debris. We will certainly have them do all our tree work from now on.

I was previously happy with another tree removal service, but I saw the coupon on Angie's list for $400 worth of service for $199 from CS tree Service and thought I would give them a shot at my business. I felt I knew what was coming when the CS representative started talking about his soaring cost of fuel and labor . My total cost from CS would have been $2350 using the Angie's List coupon. The representative also gave an estimate for neighbors trees at between $150 and $200 per tree. I called my previously used tree service and received a quote of 60% below the CS estimate, and the neighbors trees at $100 per tree. I recommend people get other quotes before buying the "you get what you pay for" reviews on Angie's List.

Christian was courteous and professional, knowledgeable about tree issues. His crew was punctual and cleaned up afterwards perfectly. We appreciated the great discount we got from an Angie's List coupon.

Overall a great experience from quote to services being performed. Crew was very professional, early, and worked very effeciently. They were very understanding request to only trim specific sides of trees to maintain privacy and even allowed my to add on some additional work once they were there. Crew asked before cutting down branches on the trees I only wanted certain parts trimmed, made sure they completely understood exactly what I wanted before starting. They cleaned up the areas they worked and even some additional areas. Very professional, would definitely use them again.

This was a very good experience. Someone came over and spoke to me prior to doing the work. We discussed how much work could be accomplished within the parameters of the Big Deal $400 in service for $199. The work was done in a timely matter and the debris was removed.

Steven came out for the quote and was able to discuss alternatives to save me money as to options to just get the trees on the ground (my neighbor wanted the wood) and where to drop them to save me the most money. We scheduled the service and they performed the work on the scheduled date. I was amazed at how close they dropped the trees near my propane tank, within 5-20 feet. I thought the first one was lucky but they dropped 2 others right on top of the first one. Where they dropped them was the most out of the way place for me at the time. They pushed the topsand other debris over to the side and out of my driveway. Overall I would definitely use them again.

Went very well. They came out wihtin 2 weeks of calling them for the estimate. Proveded the service the next week. were on time., professional. Did not apply any pressure to upgrade or get any other work done.

The owner came out in July to look at the trees we wanted to cut down. He agreed that cutting them and brining the debris to the curb would be within the voucher. We agreed the work would be done in early August after we returned from our vacation. While we were gone, a strong storm came through the area, which seemed more like a tornado in our backyard because several tree tops were torn off and some tree split. The owner came out to look at the damage and agreed to cut the damaged trees if we would do the debris cleanup. We were happy with the plan and that they kept the work within the voucher amount. The crew was professional and quick. The only bad thing and the reason for the B in responsiveness is for the long amount of time it took for them to fit us in their schedule because they got so many responses to the voucher. However, I was impressed that they took the time to call us and let us know that they were overwhelmed with voucher purchases and let us know that they would honor the voucher even if it expired (which it did). My friend also bought one of their vouchers and because her work had a project deadline, they came out very quickly to cut down her trees.

The company responded quickly for my quote inquiry. Steven was on time for the quote, professional and knowledgeable about his field. The price was a bit high, but we would considering using the company in the future.

They did a good job. I got more than they said they’re going to do that is why they say they are going to do it. We absolutely recommend them.

We bought one of the Angie's List deals in order to have a tree taken out. CS came and gave us a price to take the tree out which seemed a little high. But since we had already spent the $200 to get the deal we were somewhat committed to sticking with CS no matter what the price was. And it certainly wasn't outrageously high so we did go ahead and have them do the work. They did a fine job and everything went smoothly, so overall it was a good experience.

We contacted CS Tree Service by e-mail and phone in the middle of the day and received a call back from Steven early the next day. He said he could come out to the house, take a look at the tree, and give us an estimate that day since we are/were close. I did not hear anything for about 3 days, so I contacted them again to find out what they saw. Since this tree was a really tricky situation, Steven had been trying to reach me by phone to discuss the estimate, but he had not been able to get me. So he called me back immediately, and told me what he found. Because this tree was in the middle of the back of our house, was so close to the deck, and was leaning profusely towards the roof, he indicated there was no way they could fell this tree safely without a crane. This did not surpirse me at all -- I figured they would have to use at least a bucket truck to tie off the the pieces to keep them from hitting the house. But there really is no way to get a large vehicle to the back of our house without getting stuck in a mud pit, so the crane reaching over the house from the front yard was the only option. That's actually why the estimate was so high. It was $1750 for the tree, and $100 for the stump grinding. So after discussing this, I told him to go ahead and send me the written estimate and we would discuss it before getting started. We decided the next day to proceed. They originally scheduled us on Monday, February 11th. However, it was raining at our house that morning, and they called to say that they were going to postpone to Tuesday at 9:00 AM. So I worked from home that day to be here if/when they needed me. The crane actually arrived early at 8:30 AM, which was fine. I heard them setting it up, but it didn't bother me that much. Surprising how quiet they actually were all things considered. I was on a conference call at 8:45 AM, and I could still talk without that much disturbance. All in all, it took them right at 2 hours, including the stump grinding, I only heard the crane part of the time, and the large chipper shredding up the tree. Didn't even hear the chainsaws. Next thing I know, the tree was already gone and stump was ground. So I went down and paid with a credit card, they cleaned up, and left. All in all, we were very happy with the work. The only negative I can say is that they put about a 2 foot "scrape" in the side of our wooden enclosure underneath the deck. I am not sure if this was with a chainsaw, the stump grinder, etc. But frankly, with the position of this tree, I am surprised it was not much, much worse. And I think once I clean off the deck and stain it like it needs to be, no one will ever notice the scrape. So I'm not worried about it. Also, I don't know if this cost was exorbitant based on the fact they had to use a crane, but it seemed in line to me. I was expecting right around $1500, but because we had used CS Tree Service before and were happy with that work, we decided to use them again. And I would call them again.

Estimate done very carefully, trees marked, work done on schedule and clean-up exemplary. Very nice owners and crew. We were very satisfied with the work.

They were great. We live in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and this company is down in Apex; it is south of Rawlings, so, it is a distance for them to bring big trucks. It has to cost a fair amount of gas. I was really impressed that they were willing to come this far. They were just very professional, and they brought probably five people, so, it did not take that long. They were not here for more than half-an-hour or forty-five minutes. Things went pretty quickly, and they cleaned up after. I would definitely use them again, and they were here when they said they were going to be here.

I made a call to CS Tree Service and they responded quickly. We agreed on what needed to be done and they showed up as promised. They did a great job of cutting one fallen tree up and then taking one tree that was dangerous and ready to fall down. They completely cut the trees into pieces and hauled away everything. This is a home that I rent out. My tenants were very happy with the crew and how they handled the situation with the tree that was ready to fall and dangerous. The experience from start to finish was excellent.

We were impressed with how efficiently the work was done and how well everything was cleaned up afterwards. It was dangerous work and they were professional and organized about how they approached the job.

One of the company owners came to our house to provide an estimate and we scheduled the work for several weeks later. The workers arrived on time and were completely professional. Safety was clearly a priority and the crew cleaned up as the work was performed. The site was cleaned up so well that it was impossible to tell that any trees had been cut down. In addition, no other trees or bushes were damaged. We have worked with several tree companies in the past but this company was by far the most professional and provided the highest quality of work.

I met with one of the two partners on two separate occasions prior to starting the job. Of note I interviewed three companies recommended by Angie's list, prior to making a choice of whom to use. All three had certified arborists. I chose CS tree service because of their knowledge, demeanor with me and their Angie's list reviews . Being a woman I was put off/ offended by the attitudes and approaches of some of their competitors that I interviewed.I was extremely pleased with not only the work they did, but the crews' politeness. They were prompt, They went out of their way to do the "little things" that I am sure puts them head and shoulders above their competitors. They left my yard cleaner than it was when they arrived. I would recommend this company without question.

CS was very professional in giving me an estimate of when they could performing the tree trimming, and a quote for the additional pruning I requested. I was flexible on timing, yet the company kept me aprised of its schedule and when they would be working. i appreciate that.

One of the partners in this business met with me personally to do the estimate. He impressed me greatly with his knowledge and demeanor. All work was performed to our satisfaction. We will definitely use this company again for similar needs.

I had the top of a tree break off and get stuck in the canopy after a storm last year. I saw that CS Tree service had a big deal coupon on the site so I decided to go ahead and purchase it. I figured they would be busy with the big deal redemption's and I wasn't in a hurry to have it removed, so I waited a little while. Once I did contact them they were very prompt and responsive. In addition to major limb removal, I had them clear some branches that were getting close to the house on 2 other trees. The work was done well and they cleaned up and packed out all debris. I would certainly commend their quality. The once thing I was not very impressed with was they're quoting practice. When they initially came out, I don't think the person knew I was redeeming a big deal. After finding out, I believe he adjusted the quote up slightly. Nothing blatant, but demeanor and language basically stating the deal had been too popular and how they probably wouldn't do it again. Then the main item I had them come out for coincidentally came to the price of the big deal redemption ($400) and other items I had asked about would be extra. Overall, with the big deal coupon, I don't think the final bill was unreasonable for the quality of the work they did, but it just didn't rub me quite the right way when I felt they weren't honoring the deal is complete good faith.

This was a great experience. I am very pleased with the results. The crew was professional and the advice on needed measures was greatly appreciated. After all work was done all trimmings were removed! My yard looks wonderful and know that the crew did a great job! I would recommend CS Tree Service and would have them come again as needed.
