They were great to work with. Scheduling was a bit on the loose side, but they kept me informed when they would come and arrived reasonably close to that time. they came with a bucket truck and crane. Removed a very large Pine and a very large Tulip poplar, My yard is an extreme slope so I was impressed that they could remove the Pine from the back of my property with the crane from the Street in front of the house. Each tree was cut into pieces, the smaller pieces were ground up and the larger pieces were put onto a truck. They did a very thorough job cleaning the areas where they made a mess. removed all the small debris from my yard and driveway and removed all of the debris from the street where they did most of the work. Aside from a few scuffs from the equipment on the street you wouldn't know they had been there. While they were not the cheapest I wanted a crane service as both trees were dangerously close to the house or a retaining wall.

Prompt proposal and scheduling. Arrived on time the day of the appt with professional staff. Performed work on time and as proposed. Great clean up.

This company is excellent! Very professional, organized, complete in their work. There wasn't a leaf on my property when they were finished. I would definitely recommend this company.

This was a very positive experience overall. One of the owners originally came out to give me a quote. He was very quick in providing the quote whereas another service we had asked for a quote took two trips to come out and then a couple more days to provide the actual quote. In addition to giving us the lowest quote of the four companies we talked to, Chris also provided advice as to how to deal with the ground out Bradford Pears, which he warned might sprout again despite grinding them down very low. They came out with a large crew, including probably 6-8 people, two shredding trucks and some other pieces. They were very efficient in their work, didn't damage anything and cleaned up beautifully after themselves. At our request, they also left us all the wood chips at the end of our driveway, which will save us another couple hundred dollars that we don't need to spend on mulch this fall. Highly recommended.

I should note that I first called a different Tree Service, but because they were so booked, I asked them to recommend another company, and they recommended CS Tree Service. Ultimately I did not go with CS Tree Service, primarily because I needed the service done fairly urgently and they were booked until about a month away or a little more than a month. However, I did want to express my appreciation for their responsiveness and helpful estimate. It was very easy and smooth to schedule an estimate. Steven, the owner, was even able to come by a day earlier than scheduled, which was very helpful to me. I needed many many branches that were touching and hanging over the house to be removed, and also for a dead tree to be completely cut down and removed. It was clear that Steven was very knowledgeable about the trees, and he noted that they would trim the trees in such a manner that would avoid the branches just growing back and causing problems over the house again. The written estimate that he provided me over email was superb (very detailed, identifying exactly the work that would be completed, and also broke down the costs (e.g. which trees, grinding and debris removal, etc.), so that I could decide what work I would want done on which trees). I wouldn't hesitate to call them for future work that isn't as time sensitive.

CS Tree Services, Inc. was fantastic from our initial contact all the way through to the end of the job. Steven came out and gave us a very clear, line-item estimate and a competitive price (not inexpensive, but comparable to other bids we received). He contacted our neighbor for permission to use their driveway as access to some of the tree work that was being done. On the day of service, they arrived with their entire crew and all their equipment. They checked with me regularly to make sure they were doing what we wanted, and to check that we were getting certain tree heights and views we wanted. The guys were very polite and did a nice job cleaning up.

It went perfectly; here on time, everyone got into place, and within two and a half hours they were finished. With each man performing his role they worked together seamlessly. It was impressive to watch. The tree was in a somewhat tight spot, but there were no miscues or mishaps. We had great confidence in them from work they've done for us in the past so were pretty calm about how things would go; they didn't disappoint.

I initially received my quote from Steven who is one of the owners and he was very professional and provided all the details of the job to be performed. The job was performed on a timely basis with the oversight of the other owner Chris. Chris and all his crew were very professional and did excellent work. The cleanup was amazing as well. In addition the crane operator (although not a employee of CS Tree services, Inc.) was very professional and did a excellent job as well. This is by far the best company I've ever had to do work for me around my home. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Thanks Steven, Chris and crew for a job well done. CS Tree Services did a great job all the way around and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. In the midst of the job, we had some "challenges" to overcome with my neighbor and the crew from CS Tree Services maintained their professionalism in order to get the job done. Great job, great company.

Other than temporary damage to flower bed (recovered nicely), professional, punctual and extremely knowledgeable.

Steve Kurtz came out and provided an estimate in advance for the services. They worked with me on the overall price when I agreed to remove one tree and for them to take away the branches. A date was set for the work and Chris Baley came out and did the job thoroughly and efficiently. He and his helper were very pleasant and courteous. They also provided and estimate for work to be done by my neighbors on either side of our house.

This company arrives when it says it will,. gives you a detailed proposal, is professional to their fingertips and cleans up after themselves. They have done two complicated tree removals for us and our neighbors and made it look effortless. I will call them first and last if I have more tree work to be done. My neighbor, on this last job, gave them the ultimate compliment and said she is getting them to do work at her son's house next.

Steve arrived on time to give us the estimate. I told him what I thought we wanted, he gave me excellent advice (as one can expect of a true arborist), and we agreed on a plan. Then he prepared a remarkably detailed pictorial and verbal plan electronically that his staff could implement. They came a few days later, after we'd approved the job, and had no difficulty following the plan that was on their hand-held electronic devices They did exactly what Steve and I had agreed on, did it efficiently and with very minimal disturbance of plantings, and then cleaned up very nicely. This is the second or third time we've hired CS, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat; they're top notch professionals. They're also nice guys, friendly in a professional manner.

Steven and Chris did a great job removing and pruning several trees at my home. They were very professional, safety minded and really seemed to enjoy their work. They clearly have an appreciation of nature and trees. Their team was punctual, professional and efficient - what more could a consumer ask for? (Their price was competitive if not better than several others I received)?

It started out a little rocky - their computer system deleted my information and appointment day/time so they had to reschedule. But after that everything was great - the crew arrived on time, were quick, professional, efficient, and in about a hour and a half they were done. My neighbors were so impressed they asked for contact details for the company. The cost of the work was reasonable and, all in all, I was very happy with their work.

It was great. It wasn't the cheapest but they did the best job. They were very professional and were nice. They did a little bit of extra work for the money that I paid them and everything else. I would definitely use them again if I needed the service again. They were courteous, fast and they cleaned up after themselves very well. There was really no sign that they had left.

The initial estimate provide a detailed list of everything we had discuss as part of the service, and include insurance/workmen's comp information when it was emailed to me. After review several other services estimates and the documentation they provided to show they had the appropriate coverages, I selected CS Tree Services for both the completeness of their documentation and their competitive price. When I contacted them to schedule the service, Steve indicated that he had an opening for the current week and would arrange to have the work completed in the same day. They showed up when expected and went to work. They were very efficient and careful about protecting my lawn also. The only incident that occurred was that a branch did fall on a fence and cracked a few boards, but Steve said he would repair it without additional cost He did return with the boards and made the repairs, and he also had his team grind an additional stump without charge. The entire yard was cleared of debris, and the only thing left was some of the mulch from the trees that I had requested to keep. I was very satisfied with the results. I would definitely use this service again, and would recommend it to others.

They arrived in the morning with 6 men, a collection of trucks & equipment and got right to work. They had the first group of trees out chipped and loaded by @ noon, took a lunch break & came back to do the last few trees. A neighbor wanted the first load of wood chips and they hauled off another full truck of chips & one of trunks. They probably finished cleaning everything up @3. Everything was raked up and clean.

we changed the original order, and dropped one of my requests. I had asked that a large dead limb be cut from a tree. When they checked, they found that the entire tree was on its way to being dead, and was mostly hollow in the middle. If the tree had fallen on its own, it could have possibly landed on our storage shed. They quoted me the price for cutting the tree; I eliminated one of the smaller jobs that I had asked for and had the tree cut instead. Overall, a good experience.

Steve, one of the owner's, provided a detailed written proposal with site map and indicated what needed to be addressed now and what could wait. Upon completion, we went over the proposal and walked the property and they willingly complied with request to remove additional limbs and brush. All debris was removed and chipped.
