Description of Work: Multiple large trees and shrubs removed including grinding of stumps. One major oak due to size and location required crane service to remove safely and timely. We expected two or three men to show up but a entire team was onsite including the owners. Work commenced on time and within 4 hours they were finished with the yard looking spotless. Every neighbor watching commented how quickly and professional CS Tree Services performed. Very satisfied customer!

Description of Work: Used the coupon the first time to take out a few trees; loved their service; cleaned up nicely and really couldn't tell they had been there. Liked them so much we hired them again to take out a dying 100 ft tree in the back yard. How they got it down, i will never know, but again, cleaned up well without evidence of there ever having been a tree. My neighbors liked them and used them to do a large tree in their back yard. We will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I was very excited about this offer. I have a lot of trees and did not know of a provider to help. I ordered the offer and then called the company to schedule them to come out. I was then informed that I was out of their service area and they would not come out. I was informed if I scheduled at least a full days work then they would come out but this would have been a much higher cost than the original offer. I felt that the company was doing a bait and switch routine on me. I did get a refund of what I had paid. I felt that the company should have honored their offer but they did not.

Description of Work: Downed trees had to be removed and chipped. There were about 9 trees and some were tangled in each other. Main issue I had was not with the work, but with getting hold of the company and getting them to make, and keep, a schedule commitment. Once they were there, other than an underestimation of time required, the work performed was very satisfactory.

Description of Work: CS Tree removed 9 dead trees, cut back 4 trees from house for clearance purposes and limbed up atree whose branches were hanging low over the driveway. They also cleaned off my porch roof and gutters. A detailed plan with drawing was created along with a certificate of liability insurance. I was given an estimate of $850.00 for this work minus the Angies coupon leaving me to owe $450.00. Mr. Steve Kurtz returned my call promptly and came to my house for the estimate when he said he would. He was very professional yet pleasent. He informed me that his company had been very busy with business generated by the Angie's list offer and that he would not be able to do the work for a couple of weeks. I assured him that I was okay with that. Steve Kurtz called to tell me when his crew would be at my house. They were on time, were pleasent, did all the work planned, cleaned up very nicely and didn't harm any other plantings or structures. I paid the $450.00 and all is well. Description of Work: I had shrubs and trees trimmed as they were overgrown. They did a very good job and were punctual.

Description of Work: This is the second time we have used C&S Tree Services. The first time was to cut down dead trees and they did an outstanding job. We were concerned with that job because fencing had to be taken down and put back up and they did a great job. The work was done quickly and the employees were extreme friendly, polite, and professional. When the Angies Deal came up we bought it to have more work done with cutting off and cleaning up branches. Again the work was done well and we were very happy. Our neighborhood is very wooded and a lot of tree companies have come through and we have had to deal with horrible companies that adjacent neighbors used that damaged trees on our lot--that is why we are so glad to have a reputable tree company we can deal with. Will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: On March 8,2012, I purchased $199 worth of $400 tree work. The leaves were still OFF the trees, so the time was right for tree trimming and the money was about what was required. ALAS, several months later I left a message with Angies List, that I had no response from CS Tree. CS finally came to give an estimate on May 7 2012 and boosted the total work to about $800. I said I just wanted what i paid for on March 8, 2012. ALAS, CS told me in July that I had not chosen an additional option, (minnium of $200 was implied), in addition to my original payment, so they really could not come to my home for tree work. Consquently, I had not received tree service, much less any communication, so I replied with an email on how I understood Angies List worked. That Email plus calls from Angies List worked, CS scheduled tree work on July 31, 2012 at 3:00 pm, four months after having been paid my money with no service. The tree crew of about five big men showed up on time with two trucks and a big chipper. They did fine work and I paid an extra $250 to debrush the driveway and carry it all off. The equipment CS had was superb and the crew did a fine job. Would I hire them again? Not on your life. Have I used Angies List specials since then? Not Really.
