Like clockwork.

They have been responsive, do a good job at cleaning up when they are done and good at giving feedback at the condition they find the chimney. They installed the stove many years ago and we have been with them since.

They were thorough, explained what they did, noted that I had a great draft and suggested a product to take the creosote buildup off of the damper (of which they were not selling). I was extremely impressed with their customer service and their work. They are in our address book for the cleaning.

Chimney Wizard Sweeps, Inc. perservered in getting my fireplace going. They found out some more information after they had been done with the job and they called me and let me know about people who could help me further with what I was trying to get done.

Brian came right out the next day to assess the situation. Cleaned our chimney and installed a new chimney cap. After the holidays he returned to paint our chimney. Recommended.

Brian did an excellent job of cleaning the chimney and keeping the ash off the carpet. He took the time to explain to me details about a fireplace that I never knew. I will be using Chimney Wizards for all of my future chimney needs.

Inspection was fine. Found no issues and didn't really need to do any work. Happy to hear that birds had not gotten into the chimney. Says the chimney cover is rusting and offered to paint for $150 on another date. Seems expensive as I have a handy man that does wood rot repair (including chimneys) for $40 an hour no matter where he does the work on the house. I'll call my handy man instead and pay him $50 for a 30 minute job.

We were the last appointment of the day so they were running a little late by 30 minutes. However I work in a field that deals with appointment times and sometimes you run behind no matter how good your intentions are, so it was not a concern for us. Brian was very nice and got right to the job even with my children being silly and curious watching what he was doing. We have not had our chimney cleaned in awhile and really wanted it cleaned before the holidays. Brian was able to get us on the books quickly. He kept the mess confined and the fireplace looked great when he was done. He explained a few problems with the fireplace and chimney (house is 44 years old) but assured us it was still safe to use and just wanted us to know it was something we could address if we wanted to, which we will in the spring. He did let us know the space between the hard wood floors and the brick needed silicone caulking because sparks could get into the holes and catch fire and suggested a firesafe rug for in front of the fire place, but this is not something he supplies so no pressure selling, just courteous information. We will definitely be using Chimney Wizzards again.

I called to set an appointment and left a message. He call back within the day. Came out and performed service. Did a great job.

Brian came out quickly and gave me an estimate as well as options for the chase cover. He measured the cover and had it built and installed in 2 days. I chose a color clad chase cover and was very happy with the quality (I checked it out while it was still on the ground). Brian clearly cares about quality work and explained how he would install the cover and how it would last for many more years than the original cover he took off. He also took off the chimney cap, cleaned it off, and repainted to match the chase cover. He also recommended waterproofing the bricks above the roof and took care of that as well as cleaning out the fireplace and flue.

He was very polite, very promote, very courteous.

Called and left a message. Owner called back the next day (on a Saturday). He asked when I wanted the work done and I said as soon as possible. We arranged for the next workday (Monday), since this was convenient as I was not working that day. He was very personable and professional. He asked when the last time I had the chimney cleaned, I told him 5 years ago (it could have been longer). He recommended it be cleaned every two years, based on my current usage. Overall, a good experience.

Did everything we asked; performed everything on time and was able to deal with some unforeseen issues in mounting the cap. Advised us on the general condition of the chimney.

The owner responded to my message very quickly, came out promptly and was able to do the work that day! He was very careful to make sure our chimney swifts were full grown and ready to be evicted. He took great care in making sure no dirt came into the house, and he installed the cap that day as well. A couple of birds returned while he was picking up the cap, and he was careful to be sure they were gone before installing it. We were very pleased with this company and will certainly hire them again.

We had birds (Chimney Swifts) in our chimney last summer. They made nests in our chimney and we wanted them cleaned out in case we had to have a (gas) fire if the power went out during this cold winter. He said that the nests had fallen down off the sides and it created no fire risk. We also wanted a chimney cap to prevent further bird nesting. He had a used one which fit our chimney and he thought would last at least 10 years for $40 cheaper than new. He was very helpful and took alot of time to explain details.

After inspecting, he found no major issues with my chimney save a small crack. He repaired the crack and cleaned the fireplace. While cleaning, he explained typical issues that may arise with chimneys and what to look for in the future if I were concerned. I was also interested in installing a chimney cap at a later date, but he was able to run back to the office, pick up the cap, and install it the same day (in fact within an hour). Fast, friendly, professional, and affordable. I have no complaints and will use again.

It went Beautifully. He was in and out in about an hour. Fixed the existing problem and then left. He did a great job and the fireplace works beautifully. I was surprised at how little he charged me. He did a great job.

No one called. I understand, if you are busy, a delay of a day (or even possibly a week). 2 weeks is poor customer service.

There was leaking inside the house, on to the face of the bricks that concerned me. Jon diagnosed the problem and hopefully fixed it. If it is not fixed he guaranteed he would return and adress my concerns.

I bought a home with a wood burning insert and found many chimney cleaners would not clean the chimney unless I removed the insert (heavy cast iron.) I called Chimney Wizard Sweeps, and although it was an additional charge for the insert, which was expected, I found the company would clean the chimney and scheduled an appointment. Brian came the next morning and removed and cleaned the insert and swept the chimney. He was very knowledgeable and explained how the insert operated, made recommendations for improving the efficiency of the older model insert, and the proper way to start a fire without filling my home with smoke. He spent a couple of hours, and left my home clean. I will call him when I am ready to upgrade my insert.

Overall they were very professional, very helpful and also they were very knowledgable. Owner's name is Bryan Wilkins. He kept me from spending more then I could.

We had called Ark Roofing to repair a roof leak that was causing water stains on the ceiling of our closet. Mr. Clement from Ark Roofing took a look and said the problem was a hole in the chimney (did not charge even for a service call) and suggested that we call Mr. Wilkins at Chimney Wizards. Mr. Wilkins was prompt in returning our call, set up a time to come out, arrived on time, gave us an estimate for the work and set an appt to return in 32 days. He came on time, did the work, was pleasant, friendly and professional. The bill was exactly what he said it would be. We would not hesitate to call Chimney Wizards in the future. We also highly recommend Ark Roofing based on our positive experience with them.

It went great. He kept to his original estimate even after he found my chimney wasn't build correctly. It took him and another person about 4 hours to finish the fix but it looked great and they even went above and beyond, went out and bought some more wire mesh and fixed some gaps in the old mesh. That took an extra hour of their time, they didn't charge me any extra for labor, only 13 dollars for the material. I'm the only person that has used this company on Angie's List but I would recommend them again, and will use them for all future work.
