It was a great process. We had an initial consult and estimate with Brian and given his expertise and professionalism, we immediately decided to go with him instead of seeking out other quotes. My husband is into woodwork and craftsmanship so he is very particular and from his conversations with Brian, we felt comfortable he would be the best person for the job. Throughout the design process Brian was patient with us and worked with our indecisiveness to ensure we got the finished product we were looking for. It came out perfect and transformed our space. I would highly recommend his services and would definitely use him again.

Brian was prompt with each appointment and he told me how long it would take and walk me through the process until finish. Again, the quality is great!

Throughout the design, the wood work involved and the installation of the cabinets, Brian showed nothing but professionalism. He was courteous, helpful with suggestion from his years of experience, and open to suggestions as well. He was also open throughout the process and communicated to let us know the progress of the project . We were even invited to visit his shop where he makes the pieces. This project really required skill and patience as it was a 9 ft by 16.6 ft wall that was going to hold the built-ins. He is a perfectionist in a good way and gives the best. He did make a mistake but had the knowledge to fix it. I've heard nothing but compliments on the built-ins.

Fantastic! We had numerous builders, contractors and even large-boxed store ( Lowes, Home Depot) come out and take a look and told us that the refrigerator could not be enclosed and that the drawers would not work as well. We live in a 100 year old historic home and Brian took the time to make sure that every detail mattered! We have had so many compliments on our new kitchen and plan to use him when we get ready to remodel our bathroom. We can't say enough about how pleased we are with his work and did we mention he is a great guy!

The whole process was incredible. The work performed by Brian was to our satisfaction completely. We couldn't have been happier. Brian also in built a built in spice cabinet and storage door underneath our stairway as well as building the capibet for our downstairs bathroom. It was all better than we could have expected. He is an artist. He not only does cabinet's he can do drywall and electrical to compliment or accent his cabintry work. He can and has done it all before and is like family when he is done with his project.

I know this is the spot to share any glitches or problems, but we have none to report! The entire process went so smoothly; it was a charm. Brian was patient with us in the design process, offered great design options, and is a master in his wood shop! He truly loves woodworking and it shows in his detailed cabinets! You won't find the quality that Brian offers for the price, anywhere else! We definitely recommend BK custom to anyone looking to remodel a kitchen. Brian came to the house and we reviewed what we wanted and did not want in the kitchen. We discussed what worked in the old kitchen and what did not work ( from a layout and function stand point). Brian then measured the kitchen and started the design. He provided a great idea of relocating the pantry, adding a trash can / recycle cabinet and cabinets with a lazysusan. When there were questions about choices on preferences in the design, Brian would call us and discuss the options and choices that we could have. Brian kept us informed of progress through the whole building process sending photos on a frequent basis. Through this process we could see that the scheduled delivery date would be met. The cabinets were delivered the cabinets a couple of days before the installation and installed on time (he installed over a weekend to accommodate our needs) The work-site was kept clean The cabinets fit perfectly in the location, no additional rework or modifications were needed. The design of the bar and window seat are amazing, they are a piece of art We are in awe every time we look at our kitchen.

Our kitchen was a standard builder grade boring kitchen. When we decided to upgrade, we knew there were the basic Lowe's and Home Depot options, as well as the kitchen and bath specialty shops. We wanted to be very hands-on and present during the entire process so we searched for something more. When we met Brian, we knew it was a fit because his enthusiasm and attention to detail was so impressive. He has extensive knowledge but more importantly, is a great collaborator. Brian was very open to our ideas and was able to design and execute our vision. Brian took out the entire genetic kitchen as well as the old pantry. We changed the design of the kitchen quite a bit and wanted to add a built in oven and a built in pantry. It was difficult for us to imagine how this now blank space was going to be turned into our dream kitchen. It was a bit overwhelming at first but Brian was very communicative throughout the entire process. Brian has so much experience and it really makes the process go smoothly. We ended up with exactly what we wanted and would not change a thing. In 2011 we had major water damage and our beautiful island was ruined. Brain came back and removed the damaged island. He then built a brand new island for us. Brian also helped touch up some other cabinets and shoe mold that were damaged by the water. He treated it as if it were his own kitchen, and that made a terrible situation tolerable. Now there is no evidence of the water damage and the kitchen is perfect.
