Abel and his team are fabulous!! Abel came out and looked at our roof. He promptly emailed a detailed quote and scheduled the work within a week. His crew came out and performed the repairs. They showed up when they were scheduled and left no mess behind. Abel is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He even emailed pictures from the roof so we could see the problem and how it was repaired!! Highly recommended.

Highly recommended. Owner, Abel Figueroa, arrive on time for estimate and clearly explained all options and pricing. Day of work he arrived with his crew on time and covered the entire perimeter of the house with drop cloths to catch any falling debris. Old roof removed, damage to roof decking repaired, and new roof completed with everything cleaned up before the end of the day. No surprise charges and everything done was documented with pictures. This was for approximately 2800 sq ft of roofing.

We wanted to install a skylight that included a solar powered blind, and Abel was able to order it for us at the best price available in the area. During the installation Abel realized that our chimneys needed a lot more wood rot repair than originally anticipated, but Abel and his team performed the additional work without any additional charges. This is a true testament to his work mentality ? Abel?s priority is quality and he is willing to go the extra mile to make sure the job is done right. I greatly appreciate this!! The team also did an outstanding job cleaning up once the job was done. The Artisan Quality Craftsman Builders, led by Abel Figueroa, is a hardworking team of professionals, who take pride in their work. Abel met with us and outlined what was required for roof replacement and described how extra measures are taken to assure the safety of his crew as they work to provide a top quality finished product. All of our questions were answered to our satisfaction and all communication was open, friendly and respectful. They did a thorough job in replacing our 24 year old roof with CertainTeed Landmark Designer Series Architectural shingles. They completed it in one day and did an excellent job. We found them to be knowledgeable, highly skilled and efficient. Once the job was completed, they took time to meticulously clean up all the old shingles and tar paper. When completed, Abel registered our warranty with Certain Teed, a nice touch We highly recommend this group and will work with them in the future on other projects.

The employees arrived on time. They removed all of the old shingles and left a pathway out of the house so that we could leave if we wanted to. Unfortunately (through no fault of theirs) the route out was via our back door. We wanted to leave through the front so that we could set our alarm. We called Abel and he had the workmen stop and clean another path. We were very appreciative. We also were impressed that all of our shrubs and anything that could possible be damaged were covered with a tarp. We left for part of the day (though the banging wasn't as bad as I had feared) and Abel called us when his men were ready to start cleaning up - ahead of schedule! They cleaned up thoroughly we were satisfied with the job.

They were knowledgeable, honest, prompt and professional. They were very thorough in protecting and cleaning up the work area. They were clear about additional costs that would arise from damaged plywood, which were minimal. They provided us with a very high quality product at a great price.

Abel Figueroa met with me for the estimate exactly when he said he would do so. His team showed up exactly when their time was due = starting at 7 am (on a Saturday because the weather was going to be good that day as far as no rain was concerned). His team was totally professional and they completed the job in one day as predicted. Abel came to the site several times that day and checked everything out as it was being done. He explained to me several items of interest about the new roof and about some old issues about my house. His price quote included two pieces of board and it ended up that I needed 5 additional pieces of board but that still kept the price in a reasonable range. The cleanup was perfect and I can't be more pleased with the roof and the effort.

We had a very positive experience with Artisan, before and after our new roof. From the beginning Abel was very responsive and answered all our questions. He guided us in picking a suitable roofing color and quickly ordered the supplies. On the day of the project, his crew was there at 7am, quickly covered all of the bushes with tarps and got to work. The entire roof was done and the project was cleaned up by 1pm. We were so happy we had them come back shortly after and install a new front door. Very professiona, quick and affordable.

The work crew covered all shrubs with tarps to protect them and facilitate cleanup. They worked efficiently & completed the job quickly. Abel checked on the work periodically. They left the premises very clean. There was a mix-up in weight of felt paper initially delivered by the materials supplier; I called Abel ,and he corrected it promptly. Other than that, the work went as smoothly as possible. There was an old half-inch gap at the bottom of the roof on one part of the house that they covered with flashing at no extra charge. Abel was able to fit my house into their schedule relatively quickly. I'm not sure how competitive the price was, as I only got a couple of estimates; Artisan beat the other estimate by $2K and, best I can tell, did a fine quality job.

Because the temperature was forecast for the high 90's, the crew of 7 arrived around 6:20 a.m. and got to work immediately. They were finished by 5 p.m. and in that time completed the roof and all wood repair. The group worked as a team and were very efficient. Abel Figuroa, owner, was on site during the work. From the time we contacted Mr. Figuroa for an estimate until the job was done, everything was easy and professional. Mr. Figuroa communicated by email which worked very well for us. We chose Artisan because they had replaced 4 roofs in our neighborhood and all of those owners gave rave reviews. We also looked at Angie's List and the reviews there confirmed what our neighbors had told us. It was a pleasure working with Mr. Figuroa and his crew and we wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend him.

The work was fantastic. We needed some work done on our 11yr-old roof and a friend recommended I call Abel for a quote. He came to our home and provided a free estimate the day after I contacted him. During his initial inspection, Abel took the time to educate me on the issues present and our options. He showed me where there was work to be done and also provided examples of what it would like upon completion. The estimate was followed up with a prompt email quote, detailing our service options very clearly. We ended up responding to Abel's email several days later and asked to get on his schedule. Due to my family's crazy schedule, we were working with a tight time-frame, but Abel accommodated our needs and came right out to our house to do the job. He arrived on time, was done quickly, and even provided pictures of the roof and materials before and after his work! This level of detail and customer service is fantastic and we will most definitely be using Artisan Quality Builders in the future. Excellent customer service and affordable pricing. When I realized I needed to replace my 23 yr old roof, I contacted five roofing companies before deciding to go with Artisan Builders. Abel was patient and very thorough in his explanation of the work to be done and the timeline. He answered all my questions. He gained my confidence and I am very glad I gave him my business. He and his crew arrived on time, worked hard, and finished my roof the same day. They were all polite, courteous, and careful of my property. They cleaned up so well that it looked as if they had never been there. They took pride in their work and worked well together. Artisan Quality Builders do beautiful work. They completed the project in one day. They had 9 men onsite and they all work together as a great team. They all know what they are doing and work efficiently. They did a very good job cleaning up. The owner, Abel, is a great communicator. He responds quickly to any phone call or e-mail. I highly recommend Artisan Quality Builders for any roofing project.

After noticing several homes in the neighborhood having roofs replaced, I approached Abel Figueroa from Artisan Quality Builders to look at my roof. From that time on the experience with Abel and his team was nothing short of perfect. Abel inspected my roof the next day, and assessed that it had some hail damage. After I filed a claim with my insurance company, Abel worked with the adjuster to re-inspect the roof, and assisted with the information needed by the adjuster to adjudicate my claim. Once we had our claim accepted, Abel scheduled us right away for the roof replacement. Throughout this time, Abel was in constant contact to make sure everything was going well, and if I had any questions. The day of the job went like clock work. Abel and crew arrived at the time given, and proceeded quickly, efficiently and expertly with the roof replacement. The job was completed in one day, and care was taken to clean up the yard of any debris which is ample for a job like this. Abel uses the same crew for all his jobs and the way they work together, along with their experience, makes for a top notch job. We were highly satisfied with this company and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Artisan Quality Builders did a beautiful job on replacing our roof. They were totally professional, worked efficiently, and were done in one day. The price of the new roof was more than reasonable for the quality of the roofing material, which was a Certainteed 30-year Architectural roofing shingle. When asked, Abel (the owner) even made suggestions about what shingle color might look best for my house. The color he suggested was spot-on and the results look great. The real reason I chose Artisan was because I saw several other homes in our neighborhood having their roofs replaced (most of us had hail damage), and I got to see and compare how all the roofers worked. Artisan was by far the most professional -- their crew worked like a real team, all wore hard hats (safety comes first!), and maintained a clean site as they were working (despite all the debris of tearing down the old roof). I cannot say the same about the other companies that I viewed working on roofs in the neighborhood.

Ohmygosh. These are the most professional people! I had a rather unusual request: My husband built a tree house that touched the sky. I was not interested in nursing his broken bones, so I convinced him to hire a roofer to finish the job. Artisan Quality Builders (and Abel) was the answer! I was impressed by the level of professionalism from these guys. Abel was responsive, and his price was exceptional. The roof I needed was very, very small. Frankly, I expected it to be difficult to get someone willing to do such a small job, but that was not the case. Abel sent ME shopping for shingles (pointing me to the supplies on sale at Lowes) in order to keep my expense as low as possible. With adverse weather, he kept me informed of the scheduling changes to ensure that I was satisfied with the timeframe. The guys who came to complete the job were very nice. They showed such pride in their work...even when tip-toeing on the top of a tree house. Frankly, anybody who acts as excited about a tree house as these guys...has my confidence...and the recommendation of my kids!

Let me start off first by saying I am a very picky person. I am a DIYer and I like things done in a certain way, to my exacting standards. The first plus was Abel from Artisan Quality Builders worked with me. I like to over engineer everything so my roof had to have 30lb felt and button caps. Abel was more than happy to work with me and ensured we still kept the shingle manufacturer's warranty. By the way, they are certainteed certified. Please consider using manufacturer certified installers. This ensures the job gets done properly and if there are ever any issues with the shingles the manufacturer will honor the warranty and not claim improper installation. As an added bonus, Artisan provides a 10 year workmanship warranty. Punctuality is important as anal as I am. They said 7am saturday, they were here on time and started immediately. The roof was done by 3PM. It was 22 squares if anyone was wondering. Cleanup was complete and trucks were gone by 3.30PM. My property was left clean and no nails were in my driveway. As some extra added bonuses, I went to Lowes and got some attic exhaust vents they installed for me that I will hook up later. They also spray painted all the ugly white pipes coming out my roof to black which was a nice touch. A quick note on the quoting process. I received 4 quotes before going with Artisan. First, their primary business is roofing. You always want to use someone whose primary business is roofing if you want a new roof. Also use a manufacturer certified installer. Of the four quotes, the cheapest quote was 1500 dollars less than Artisan's. You know why? Because that "installer" didn't quote for ice guard, starter strips, or ridge shingles. He wasn't going to use any of that and make his own out of existing shingles. This is NOT the way to do business. Once that guy was tossed out, Artisan was right in line with other quotes. They simply provided me the better customer service and gave me a better feeling as they thoroughly explained the answer to all my questions. My overall review (if you skimmed the above) is that the owner, Abel, is an honest guy who cares about quality work and customer satisfaction which is rare these days. He spent so much time with me to ensure I was happy which was definitely above and beyond. I highly recommend them.

The first time he upgraded our home it was done in a timely manner. He also gave us good advise on what materials to use and he did the job well within the quote. We were so impressed with his work we asked him to build the porch and deck on our new home. The result is beautiful and again within budget. Not only was it build to our specifications it is very soundly built, using the best quality materials. I was very impressed with little surprise touched and his attention to detail.
