+ -1 moreBased on the progress we had to give them another check for over $5,000. We paid the money on May 11 the day they dropped off the equipment. We have complained and complained. He said he came over to check things, but that is not true. It is a complete mess, we have pictures and we will be taking them to court if we have to. We have called many times with no call back. We contacted another company on 8/10 and they came out yesterday and had the pool completed in 2 days versus this company that did nothing for 5 months. I left a message requesting that Leisure Pools call me because I no longer wanted their service and I wanted my money back. All we want is our deposit back because they did absolutely nothing for us. It has been a week and still no one has returned our calls.
Description of Work: In March we signed a contract for a pool to be installed. The contractor, Charles Jannuzzi, he verbally guaranteed the install date of June 1st, that never happened. It went out to July 1st. No work has been done. We gave him a deposit of $8,775. This was 30% down payment on the day of signing the contract. To this date the pool has not been installed. He will not return phone calls. We have called at least 20 times. Channel 5 out of Raleigh we later found out that they did a story on them, stating the amount of complaints. On May 10th a contractor, Steve Migliaccio, it states he is the manager of Cape May Construction, they came to our door step submitted papers saying make all checks out to Cape May. They were taking over the contracts on the pool. No one has ever called, they did minimal work, but left it a mess.
