+ -1 moreService from them has always been fabulous. They try to help via phone whenever possible and avoid making visits and charging me. They sent me a replacement instruction book for my system at no charge when a house guest mistakenly removed it from my home. They have been happy to update the names and numbers on my "call list" for the alarm as well as the password information. Whenever anyone has come to the house, they have been great. One of the examples of their care is that I have hardwood floors on 2 floors of my home and the servicemen have removed their boots to be sure not to dirty or damage the floors (something I wouldn't have asked them to do since this slows their ability to do work...but they don't charge me extra for that time). Every time I have been charged less for the visit than I have been quoted on the phone, but the service call has resulted in my system being functional & fast! The other thing I have to rave about is the monthly cost -- new customers can get monitoring for $18/month!
Description of Work: In February I changed from land-line to digital phone. I had checked with ABV to be sure this would be OK for the security system. The tech people gave me complete directions by phone ,at no cost, to be sure the TWC techs could set everything up. This was suppose to make the transition seamless. Unfortunately, this didn't work & the system got knocked offline. ABV offered to come out immediately & get me back on-line (after hours & during the weekend -- for an additional charge, which they informed me about), or offered the first available appointment (the upcoming Tuesday). They informed me of the cost of the service call before they made it.
