Dustin was my initial point of contact who met with me and came up with the proposal. Jeff, Josh, Bayron, and Devan were the technicians who did the installation. Both Dustin and the installation team were very courteous and patient about answering questions. The installation went very smoothly.

Just had my first service check up on my heating and air conditioning unit. As was the install the scheduling was easy. The technician called prior to arrival. I had Maynor do my HVAC last week. Not only did I get the best price but the professionalism of this company and its representatives is second to none. Mike came out and did a very thorough explanation of my options. He clearly knew what he was talking about from experience. He knew what I needed for top notch comfort. The installers came in and were very professional. They showed up on time and made great use of time as to not hold me up longer than necessary. Before I called Maynor, I had 4 other companies give me an hvac replacement quote. Maynor was the 5th. I was very impressed with Mike who gave me the estimate. He exactly gave me the picture of what HVAC I was going to get and gave me choices and time to think about it. I decided to go with Maynor because of their reputation. NATE certified installers. I was right. Junior and Biri came to install my trane hvac with both heating and cooling. I also had zoning done. Very professional. Came on time at 7:30 and finished around 4 pm as I had zoning done the same day. Very impressed with the work done and the efficiency is to say the least. The next day, Jaime (supervisor) came to my house and reassured me that everything is working great. I appreciate the reassurance as it is a big investment. They are open 24/7 and they listen to your needs. Competitive quote and honestly lower than everyone else considering the quality of work. My heating was in the attic and the work was outstanding (I took before and after pictures and inspected everything they did). The zoning works perfect. If you are looking for quality, efficient and superb work, go for Maynor. You will never go wrong. I had researched, read all reviews and got estimates from 4 other big hvac installers. I was not convinced until I met Mike who was honest, detailed and organized. The only one who gave me the specific model number of the hvac I was getting and educated me regarding the different kinds of hvacs. Also, he did not push me to go with other brands like all the other 4 companies did. Maynor took care of me and I know they will take care of you too.

We needed the 32 year-old ductwork replaced in our second story due to heavy infiltration of dust, pollen and bits of fiberglass insulation from the unfinished attic portion from deteriorated ducts. Given our pretty severe allergies to tree and grass pollen, the second story rooms were mostly unusable and even the first floor a problem, not as bad but still unpleasant. Even our cat was suffering. Drew, the sales manager, gave the whole system a very thorough review. He measured our rooms and discovered the system was oversized for the square footage, which not only put strain on the blowers but made the sound at the registers so loud it was difficult to speak on the phone in my office. He recommended an additional register in the hallway between the rooms. Glad he did. The thermostat is located in the hallway which also looks out over a large room with a cathedral ceiling. The new outlet has helped normalize the temperature and the AC/Heat run much less now and give more even temperatures. He also recommended a full house filter on the blower and an in-duct LED purification device that treats mold, dander, pollen and dust. Again, glad he did. They have made a big difference very fast, especially in pretty dramatically reducing dust and improving our respiratory systems. We had the same devices installed on our downstairs unit. We also had a detached first floor duct. In an above and beyond move, Drew went into the crawl space to check it out and temporarily repaired the duct until Maynor could replace it. The installation team, Jeff and Seth, were the superheroes of the project. There were two ducts so tight under the roof they looked as if they couldn't be replaced without tearing out part of the ceiling. One of those ducts had been shredded all the way through by an animal. It came out right over my desk and had been raining pollen, etc. down on me for some time. Seth managed to squeeze into the tight spots and replace the ducts all the way to the boxes. Both guys were very professional and personable and did a great job as unobtrusively as possible in a single day. Also very proud of the company and obviously happy to work there. Maynor sounds like a very customer and employee focused company.

I could not be more happy or recommend more highly Maynor HVAC for their electrical services. Their field manager Norm stopped by my home on more than one occasion and helped me think thru my planned layout, define the right materials and ensure everything met state and federal codes. On the day the work was completed, Chris K and Julius arrived right on time and worked well into the early evening to get the job done. There work was immaculate and they took the time throughout the day to answer any questions I had. Can't thank them enough for the great work. When the city of Apex inspector came by to perform the final inspection, he looked around and within 60 seconds turned to me and said, "Wow, this is perfect!" to which I agreed wholeheartedly. Thanks guys, great job!

On the 27th of April 2022, Rob and Seth of Maynor Services installed my new Trane Gas Pack HVAC system. Both actually showed up early and were waiting out front before our appointment. We talked briefly about what they were going to be doing and they got right to work. You could tell that they’d worked together as a team for a while as they both tackled different areas without any discussion. Seth even dug up and moved two shrubs to make room for removing the old unit and installing the new unit. At the end, he replanted them and both shrubs have survived like they were never disturbed. They removed all the old equipment, including stuff under the house without a trace. The new unit went in perfectly and the sheet metal covering the ducts and attaching everything back to the house looked so much better and more professional than the old installation. Rob only had to come into the house just a couple of times; to remove the old control system and thermostats and install the new thermostats. It was a full day’s work for Rob and Seth, but the results were perfect. Both were very personable and I would highly recommend them as team to install Trane equipment to anyone. I’ve used Maynor for preventive maintenance on my old equipment for two years leading up to replacing my 16-year-old system and kept it operating perfectly, but now, before it really gets hot and while equipment was available seemed to be the smart time to make an upgrade.

I had to have a complete change out of my HVAC system. From the beginning of the service call with Joe the service manager to Drew the sales advisor it was a great experience. When the installers Rob and Seth arrived, they were on time. They were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They laid tarps down to protect the carpet and everything was nicely cleaned up when they finished. The replacement / installation was completed efficiently, and the system was tested and Seth explained the thermostat ops. Rob and Seth make a great team. Seth went above and beyond and brought in the heavy box of dog food that was delivered that morning from the porch. What an awesome job. Thank you Maynor HVAC.

Very quick response to gather info for estimate. Work began two days later and completed in two days. Crew listened to my concerns and I am very content with results.

We had a Maynor tech (Gary) inspect our dual zone system yesterday and all went well. We called Maynor based on the multitude of positive reviews found on line. Our HVAC system had not had an inspection in 6 years and we knew we were overdue. Gary was very professional in his approach and very willing to explain what he was doing step by step. He found indications of mold on the coils and recommended the installation of UV fixtures to alleviate further problems. There was no pressure and instead shared photos off of his phone showing similar situations and the affect of the UV lights. Gary was able to provide and install the fixtures while he did the system inspection. We were very pleased with the manner in which this young man conducted himself and his working knowledge of the HVAC units. We're happy that we selected Maynor and look forward to a long relationship with them.

Rob and Seth arrived on time and were professional and efficient. Everything was installed as described and works great. They communicated with us very well. I would definitely hire them again.

I highly recommend Apex-based "A. Maynor Heating & A/C", who replaced my furnace and the entire central air conditioning system (outside condenser unit, inside evaporator coil, and new refrigerant lines) on 7-17-2020 at my Cary house. I also had them install the new outside condenser unit on the opposite side of the house (where it's in the shade, able to operate more effectively) compared to where the original condenser was (in the direct sun). All of their personnel were very competent, polite, prompt, and a pleasure to interact with, from Christy & Tammy in the office, to Carlos & Louis who performed the initial inspection & diagnosis of the original system that had failed, to Norm who performed the house "load calculation", recommended the appropriate new system, and who (since he's a licensed electrician) modified the wiring at the electrical panel as needed for the new condenser location, to Ramon & Christian who performed the new installation, and to Robert who performed the post-installation check and installed a new condensate pump.

Maynor did a great job. Our repair required that the company do a lot of thinking and innovation well beyond a standard installation. They were up to the task. Our HVAC was located in the attic with a very narrow opening that was difficult even for a person to access.. We thought we were in for major carpentry. They were able to develop a solution which involved access by removing and replacing the air return in the ceiling. The job was scheduled promptly. The crew was very professional, polite, and worked quickly. They left the house very clean. The system works better than the old system ever did.

I am beyond pleased with Maynor Heating and A/C. I needed a new A/C unit and shopped around to compare written quotes from multiple contractors. Maynor installed a better unit and beat the prices of the competitors, plus Maynor has outstanding and dedicated customer service and their work came with warranty included. I'm very happy with Maynor and recommend them highly!

My home is 21 years old and the HVAC systems were struggling, so it was time to replace the attic unit which served the 2nd story and the HVAC unit in the basement, which served the finished part of the basement and the first floor. The heating and cooing had been terribly uneven in the finished basement and the first floor, so adding a zoned system was very important to us. Maynor gave a competitive quote, but what set them apart from the other quotes was their attention to detail. Norm and his colleague came out twice to measure and make sure the zoning could be done, because space was tight to re-run ductwork, and they likely would have to cut through sheetrock to get things done. They took time to spec out the features in the HVAC systems that they knew were needed to meet our requirements. The installation crew was Rob and Austen, and these guys were total professionals. I've never had a team work on a major home project that was so professional in every way. They were extremely communicative, calling as they left their shop to tell me when to expect them, going out of their way to describe what was coming next, what the timing might be, etc., etc. Their work was of high quality, and the installed systems were neatly put into place. Their attention to detail (and new building codes) was superb. Since a good part of the installation was going through a workshop, and would be taking up more space than the previous HVAC system, Rob and Austen we proactive in telling me where new components might need to be located, giving me options, and respecting my preferences. They went out of their way to minimize the sheetrock that needed to be disturbed, making the job more difficult for them, but meeting our needs completely. Best of all, the new HVAC systems are working beautifully and have given us what we've been looking for -- a solution that heats and cools both the first floor and the lower floor very evenly. Maynor's professionalism was also evident in all our communications with Christy at the home office, dealing with billing, registering the system and applying for rebates from the power company. Maynor really has it's act together and their team goes out if its way to make sure the customer gets the right equipment, installed with the highest level of professionalism.

A Maynor Heating and Air replaced my Earthlinked Geothermal system and Air Handler which was experiencing multiple issues. The owner Anthony spent many hours on the phone with the system’s designer to understand the system and determine the best replacement solution. Anthony spent many hours on the phone with me thoroughly explaining the different options. We decided to replace both the compressor and air handler. Unfortunately, the system was damaged in shipment which caused a lengthy delay but Anthony provided us with both window air conditioners and space heaters to make us comfortable. Everyone I encountered from his team was top notch and thoroughly explained the work they performed and cleaned up after themselves. A special thank you to Mark who stayed late several nights to ensure the complicated system was running correctly. You will not go wrong hiring A Maynor for your HVAC needs, they are a top notch company which offers personalized service.

Jacob called to let me know he was on his way, then arrived on time and was very professional. He patiently answered all my questions and didn't mind me following him around while he worked. He performed routine maintenance and cleaning on my air handler and heat pump. I would definitely hire them again. I found A Maynor on NATE's website (North American Technician Excellence) and was impressed that over 75% of their technicians have NATE certification. Always make sure you use NATE certified HVAC techs.
