http://www.newsobserver.com/news/local/community/cary-news/article101762867.html My number one goal is customer satisfaction (Super service award winner 2012, 2013, 2014,2015,2016,2017 on Angie's list) which to me is defined as a client who is not only completely satisfied with my services but is willing to refer me to their friends, family and co-workers. I currently have serviced 850th clients! My work is my passion and I absolutely love providing my services to my clients. I get a real sense of pleasure when a client loves the work I have done, smiles and says thank you for a wonderful job. I perform most of the tasks myself, but also know when to say a job is out of my area of expertise. If/when that happens, I do know qualified contractors who can step in and perform the work at a very reasonable rate. I followup with my customer after the job is completed to ensure it was performed to their satisfaction, which is especially important since my reputation is on the line and as I mentioned prior, customer satisfaction is my number 1 goal. I can provide references upon request which I would challenge any other tradesman to do the same. I am confident you will be pleased with my workmanship and prices. Free estimates are available 7 days a week.

Over two days, Tom Rudele and Chris did everything that we requested in the time that they said they would. Not only that, they did an excellent job. The new tile floor is fantastic. The smoothed walls are ready for painting. The crown molding is better than any that we have had installed since living in this house. And, of course, we value our reconstructed door that now closes and latches as it should. Tom and Chris were friendly, polite, and answered all of our questions. They vacuumed and cleaned up every bit of debris after completing their work both days. Tom is going to install our new toilet and new lighting after the bathroom is painted. And we plan to discuss with him a new kitchen floor and crown molding in other rooms of the house. I would highly recommend Tom, Chris, and A Master of All Trades to anyone needing high-quality work done in their home at a reasonable price.
Description of Work: New tile floor for the upstairs bathroom, as well as crown molding. Walls were smoothed for painting. They planed and re-hung the bathroom door so that it now actually closes.

Tom came over on a SUNDAY to review the many things I needed done and the next day I had an email with an estimate, which I agreed to. I told him the bathroom mirrors were the most critical and the rest could wait, should his schedule open up. He called me a day later and said he had some free time to put up the mirrors that afternoon! Tom brought Chris with him and they both worked to measure and put up the mirrors. They were patient with me as I checked to make sure it was exactly the way I wanted it and when I wanted the mirror moved "just a little to the right-ish" they just did it without hesitation. Tom and Chris work well together and you can see how they both want their customer to be happy with their work. I cannot wait for them to come back and do the rest of the work - on their time frame. It's obvious why Tom has so many customers - he takes pride in his work! P.S. The value of the service is $500 for the total job, not just for the mirrors...

Tom and his helper promptly arrived as promised and worked diligently to complete all items. They worked diligently to perform all work and did a quality job. I felt comfortable having them in my home. I feel fortunate to have found a service provider who can perform a large variety of items, from electrical installations to routine repairs and maintenance items.
Description of Work: I had a punch list of items, including installation of a new ceiling fan, installation of an under-the- counter light, new doorbell, and several handyman, maintenance type items.

Smoothly, quickly with no glitches...... I would hire Tom again and again - he is so professional but also personable and truly a master of what he undertakes. Love my newly painted/refurbished bedrooms. I couldn't be happier. Tom provides the labor and you cover the supplies, i.e. paint, wood, etc.
Description of Work: This was round two with Tom Crudele, A Master of All Trades. This go round he painted my three bedrooms ,patching and filling in cracks, replaced old fashioned and damaged trim around my windows and floors, painting the new trim as well. I have "hospice" kitties in my master bedroom and he worked around them with no problems. I think they enjoyed watching him work.

[Member Name Removed], Thank you so much for the kind words. It was a pleasure working for you. Tom
I carefully studied all contractors/handymen in my area on Angie’s List and A Master of All Trades stood out. In addition to my critical issue, I had a host of other items I wanted repaired. Tom looked at my list, looked at the work to be done, rapidly assessed the situation, and told me what he did do, what he brought in a licensed professional (in my case a plumber) to do, and what he did not do (windows) but provided me with several credible resources. He had scheduling conflicts (I understand why – his work is excellent) so we agreed Chris would do this job. Chris came out promptly on the appointed day, we did a walk-through with list in hand, and he sent me an estimate in a very timely fashion. We discussed and agreed upon price of the job and a staged approach. Chris, too, had conflicts. We all do, it’s not about the conflicts; it’s about a schedule that works for both parties. Even at this early juncture, I was very comfortable with both of these gentlemen. The staged approach worked just fine; Chris and their plumber were out quickly to identify the source of the leak, repair it, and then repair the dining room ceiling. The work was excellent, the job site was very clean, Chris and Chris (yes plumber is also a Chris) were very pleasant. They worked with the insurance adjuster over the phone and satisfied all his questions. On the day the next phase of work was to begin, Chris was once again prompt with everything in hand that was needed. I purchased the tile and grout; he provided all other materials needed. He replaced vinyl flooring in 2 bathrooms and a laundry room with tile. I have had some remodeling done in the past; Chris was like no other tradesman I’ve used. He is meticulous in his work, the detail satisfies me (and I am very detail oriented); the cleanliness during the job and at the end of each day satisfies me (and a clean house is very important to me). And he is just so darned nice. Kitty approved, for sure. Both of mine went in to meet him at various points during the work :-) The last phase consisted of more minor repairs in both master bath and master ceilings and repainting of same; cleaning up and re-caulking of bath and kitchen fixtures; power washing and re-staining of front porch; and few other assorted projects. I would say that my house hasn’t looked this good since I built it and moved in 13 years ago but that would be wrong. My house has never looked this good. I can’t imagine using anyone else for any future work. A Master of All Trades is professional, prompt, honest, and operates in integrity in every sense. They also answered all my questions along the way so that I learned. It’s been a very long time since I have dealt with folks who share my work ethic and diligence to a job. They do not add any fees to the cost of materials they purchase on your behalf and they do not treat questions as though you are challenging their work. I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: I had 2 mysterious leaks appear on my dining room ceiling with a corresponding staining on the master bath floor above. I had not noticed this until I did my annual deep cleaning. I was very upset and panicky as I had never had anything like this before. I contacted a trusted contractor I had used before who took 3 weeks to get out to me and 2 more weeks to give me an estimate 3 times the other 2 - and no desire to work with my insurance company. And I still had no idea of the cause of the leak. I managed to get a half dozen estimates but not was not comfortable with any of the providers. In addition to repairing the leak, I wanted to replace flooring in 2 bathrooms and a laundry and also had about a week’s worth of other items needing repair. I finally joined Angie’s List after speaking with my insurance company while trying to get folks out to look at the damage. The adjuster gave me some direction and insight as to potential causes and I “threw” away all the other estimates in order to start again.

While the gentleman that came out to do the estimate was definitely qualified (I'd even have to say over qualified - he was that good) I had to pass on having them do the work as I felt the hourly rate was too high for what I was requesting. I was able to get an electrical deal for light fixtures, did some of the work myself and was able to complete the rest of the work with another handy man at a more reasonable rate.

[Member name removed], We do not charge hourly and If you felt the pre-agreed to price was to costly then why did you have my business associate do the work? Electricians charge $120 / hour and I have built my business on being fair and reasonably priced. 99.9% of my 650 clients are pleased with my prices and workmanship and would explain why my company is rated #1 in the area on Angie's List. Next time please select another company since reading a review on Angie's List instead of expressing your displeasure with me face to face is not a customer I want to do further business with!

Fantastic. Was incredibly relieved to find a great contractor on short notice for such a reasonable price. They have my business for any future projects, no question about that.

Tom and Chris did a fantastic job. They were very professional. Contacted through Angie's List, they showed up on time, I could trust them in my house, the quote was on target and on budget. To schedule them too some time since Tom was booked up for more than a month, The quality of work was exceptional, well worth the wait!

I had a "laundry list" of things that needed to be done around the house. Tom was able to handle nearly all of them. Anything he didn't do he had a reputable recommendation for me if I wanted it. I was impressed with Tom's work in all areas. He completed the work more quickly than I expected and his work was of high quality. I also thought his price was very reasonable. Tom was easy to work with and communicated in a timely and professional manner. I would enthusiastically recommend Tom as "A Master Of All Trades" to anyone needing work done in their home.

The bathroom was the biggest job and it turned out better than I could have expected!
Description of Work: Tom and Chris tore out and redid a bathroom (including all tile work), painted a kitchen ceiling, fixed a water damaged window sill, moved some electrical outlets. They probably felt like I was never going to let them go, but they did such great work at a reasonable price I wanted to get everything fixed while I had them! Quality of work was wonderful. They showed up when they said they would, stayed in budget and were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them!

Tom was very responsive and timely in communicating with us. He provided a quote and was detailed on our preparation for the work. He and his assistant did an amazing job! I would definitely recommend his work.
Description of Work: Bathroom trim work, repaired nail pops in ceiling, caulked shower, installed outdoor floodlight
Everything went great. Tom and his co-worker arrived on time, worked extremely hard, and finished the whole job in one day. They cleaned up the work space before they left and even helped me move a piece of furniture back into place. The work was done splendidly. You can't tell there was ever a double doorway there, because their work was so seamless and professional. I recommend them highly.
Description of Work: Years ago, we put double doors between two of our bedrooms. We wanted to go back to having the bedrooms be separate from one another. This required that the double doors and casings be removed and new sheet rock installed to build the wall back. Then it had to be plastered, sanded, and painted. As a part of this, new baseboards were added in both bedrooms. We also needed a new door hung in one of the bedrooms. This involved taking out the old casing, installing a brand new door, painting it, and installing the doorknob assembly.

Tom is fantastic! A very conscientious worker. He comes on time with all the supplies that are needed to fix the various problems. Tom repaired large, gapping holes in the garage and bedroom walls and in a bathroom ceiling which were all caused by previous leaks, and he also caulked the tiles in another bathroom and fixed a jammed door lock. He replaced insulation and sheetrock, then spackled and sanded the damaged sections. Tom painted the sheetrock and everything looked as good as new as if nothing had happened. He fixed the door by replacing a screw and lubricating the lock. All work areas were cleaned up to complete a top notch job!

While on a previous project, Tom did an estimate for updating the hall bathroom. A date was set for the work to begin and Tom emailed a list of supplies we needed to pick up and another which he would be responsible for. Tom and Chris arrived as planned on May 23rd to begin the work. They worked diligently every day, cleaning up the area each day before leaving. Work done included wallpaper removed, walls smoothed down, wall and floor tile installed, walls and ceiling painted, vanity and commode installed. We are very pleased with the results and are considering updating another bathroom. Very professional with good communication, would highly recommend this service provider.

I informed you on several occasions that I was not interested: 1) because I had several big jobs which had me scheduled out to the end of July and 2) I did not feel comfortable with the work scope based on your description and I will not do work unless I am 100% confident that I can do an A+ job.. Even with that said, you kept on insisting that I stop by for an 'estimate'. I am not sure how much clearer I could have made it that I WAS NOT INTERESTED! So now you take the cowardly way out and defame me on Angie's List. Next time before you submit a negative review, you should remember that Angie's List reviews are intended for service personnel who actually perform a SERVICE....I as well as any other contractor have the right to pick and choose who I work for and after this performance I am glad I did not work for you!
