+ 0 moreMichael came promptly to the initial appointment, gave us his estimate and clearly explained the entire process. We chose our granite from a huge warehouse selection nearby, and within 2 weeks had the new countertops installed. From the first meeting with Michael, to the templating appointment, to the actual installation with his crew, we found Michael to be professional, personable and completely reliable. We were so pleased with Michael's work that we had him use the same granite in a powder room next to the kitchen. We wouldn't hesitate to use his services again, and will recommend him to our friends.
Description of Work: As part of repairs due to a small kitchen fire, we needed to replace our countertops. We decided to upgrade from the old plastic laminate to granite, so our general contractor introduced us to Michael Heath at Old North State Granite. We have approximately 25 linear feet of counter, plus a large island and desk, so the job was a fairly large one.
