 + -1 moreThey never showed up, even when they said they would show up by the end of the week. I waited 3 weeks for them... I was not going to wait any longer. I hired Brabble Plumbing & Sons out of Edenton instead. They showed up when they said they would and they completed the work in a timely manner. They were more expensive, but they got the work done, and they were still less than other plumbers I had called in region (whose locations were closer to Hampton Roads). I would not bother calling White & Woodley ever again in the future. It didn't sound like they really wanted the job. All they did was make excuses for why they "couldn't" show up!
Description of Work: I wanted them to fix my "code failure problem" - previous owner of my home propped up all the plumbing with blocks and sticks instead of properly strapping them to the floor joists. I also needed them to look at my ducts because many of them have become detached and I felt the ducts were actually too small for my home. (That "fact" was confirmed by another contractor who mentioned that my ducts are too small, and I must be having trouble heating and cooling my home as a result). I had mentioned this to White & Woodley as well... I want it fixed to the appropriate size needed for my home. There was plenty of work to be done here, yet he kept giving me the run around about the weather being in the high 90's and having to fix everybody elses HVAC BEFORE they can help me. I called him and tried to get them out to my house 2 weeks BEFORE this excessive weather began, and they gave me the run around all the way up to the week of 6/15. They said they would definitely be here before the end of the week to take a look at it! THEY NEVER SHOWED... I hired a different plumber to fix my issue, which charged $12.50 more per hour, but at least they showed up! The work on my plumbing is finally done, now I just have to find an HVAC guy that will show up and be reasonable with their pricing. I don't live in an expensive area, so generally this kind of work is below an hourly rate than what they can make if they make the 1 + hour drive into Hampton Roads... It is hard to find someone who will reflect in their pricing the "going rate" for the region... because we are somewhat close to Hampton Roads. I am very close to finishing my crawlspace repairs & I cannot wait until it is done so I can relax and finally enjoy my home. I WOULD NOT recommend this provider if you need the work done in a timely manner and you actually want them to show up at your home!

 + 1 moreThey were perfectly professional. They came and did the job, in the rain, and got the job done fast. Which in the area I live in means a lot. There was no complaining, no directions on what I did wrong, and no pointing fingers. They got the clog out and left.

 + -1 moreI used them previously on my own residence and that is why I called them again. They are usually responsive. They send out enough people for doing the job. I was not really happy with this past experience. They said they did things that they did not do, and they did things that I did not want done. I called them and told them I was not satisfied with the work.
