Description of Work: I called them out to determine lack of water flow to my washing machine and temperature discrepancies in my oven. |Two technicians came out on separate visits. |The first tech "analyzed" my oven situation. She determined the oven was bringing temperatures up correctly. I tried to explain why I disagreed, but she relied on her instrumentation. I still have the problem that the stove says it is up to the desired temperature when it is actually still much cooler. We get around the problem now by adjusting the temperature hotter and using a oven thermometer to get us to the temp we want. I was charged $75 for the visit. |The second tech came out for the lack of cold water flow into my washing machine. He determined it might be an internal valve problem and ordered a new valve assembly. It didn't help the situation at all, but I was out $130 for the unit plus $75 for the visits. The actual problem was the two wire strainers I installed in the cold water hoses leading to the cold water inlet. (We have a problem with silt and sand coming into the house from the well.) It wasn't discovered until a Sears technician proved that there was no problem with water pressure leading into the washer. When we took out the strainers, the water flow was adequate.

Description of Work: Came to repair dryer that was not heating. Fixed the reset, cleaned all duct work. Advised that if the thermostat was damaged when the reset was tripped there would need to be a thermostat replacement. Worked well for 1 day then overheated. They ordered the thermostat, came the same day and replaced the thermostat. All working well now.

Description of Work: The repair technician, Renee, came by the house and found the leak in our refrigerator, She was able to provide a solid temporary repair job until a more permanent one could be done. Because of the refrigerator's age, Renee said she'd have to do some checking to see if a part we talked about was available. Overall, good experience.
