+ -1 moreThere is nothing that she cannot do. Susan checked on the painters progress often and with a critical eye. We were so pleased at the workmanship of her painters and the incredible progress that was made in just three short weeks. Shortly before our move, Susan was in Florida for several weeks working for an old client, yet she was checking out paint colors and coordinating bids with painters because of our tight time schedule. Susan works out of her home, which keeps the overhead low. She has an incredible selection of catalogues on lighting, fabric, wallpaper and can streamline the selection process which was amazing. She has an unbelievable way of catching on quickly about what will work in your home as if she has known you forever. As a client, we benefited from her fastidious approach to detail and were pleased that we could do some of the legwork which kept us within the budget. We highly recommend LAPATO id and Susan and Richard for making our home so special.
Description of Work: While in the planning stages of relocating to Pinehurst from Bethesda, Maryland, my sister discovered LAPATO id, an interior design firm servicing Pinehurst and its surrounding areas since 2005. Susan Lapato's curriculum vitae is not exclusive to just interior design, but a complete full service firm that will make a large transition completely stress free. Before we purchased our home, my husband and I met with Susan and Richard and arranged for them to see the house prior to settlement. Susan and her husband Richard work together as a team to accomplish all the tasks on your list from selecting painters that she knows and trusts, working with your color scheme and well within your budget. My husband and I were amazed at the fact that the estimated prices on our initial budget were much higher than the prices that Susan found! I ordered Plantation shutters for all the windows on the main floor. The price paid was less than half of our budget and are absolutely amazing. Susan managed to work with all of my existing furniture. She is also able to beat furniture prices even in North Carolina!
