Joy of Cleaning

I will never use them again. They never showed up on time. They didn't come for three weeks in a row. They kept saying they were coming. For the fourth week I really needed them, and they couldn't come so I said, "Don't come no more. Go away."

We moved to the area on a Monday, arriving around 2pm. Realized that the house was not clean, and the management company recommended Joy of Cleaning. They came by for an estimate at 6pm that evening, and came back the next day (today) to perform the work. Two people cleaned the 3BR/2BA home from 9am until 9pm, with a third joining in for the last four hours. They moved the range and cleaned around and behind it as well as inside it, located the source of odor in the kitchen (dishwasher and disposal) and resolved it, took down every light fixture and fan blade for cleaning and bug removal and put them back in order, scrubbed crayon markings off walls, and washed windows (having to replace the water every two windows because they were so dirty). Plus the "normal" cleaning like vacuuming and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, and dusting. They got into every closet corner and all the baseboard, wiped down all the shelves in the kitchen and other cabinets, and in general did an extremely thorough job. Additionally, we have two dogs who were a bit freaked out between the move and the new house and new people, and they were very understanding and friendly with the dogs. Additionally, they communicated throughout any time there was a question or they found something that might be a concern (like a bedroom window that doesn't open smoothly or a wasp's nest by the front door) so that we were aware and could follow up as needed. Between the reasonable cost, the extremely timely job performance, and the great job they did, we couldn't be happier.
