Description of Work: Had boiler work done. He did great work, but it took many calls to reach him or have him get back to me. Doing something on a set date did not seem to be a concern to him, so I had to revise my plans. He was supposed to come back on a certain date, and did not. He did not bother to tell me when he would be by, I finally heard from him when he was ready. Think he ran into trouble with a part, but communicating was not a strong point there. Quality of his work was impeccable. He was knowledgeable and careful, very detail oriented. Knew his stuff. He caught something (& fixed it) we were not aware of that could have killed us. If he was cued into time needs, and communicating, I would use him again. He was a nice guy too. Am guestimating date of service, can't get into my records to find when the work was done right now. He goes by a different name A & D Plumbing. He took it over from his Dad, but the Street address is the same, phone # the same. I contacted him on the phone #.

I scheduled an appointment date for a week from my first call. When the day came where they were supposed to show up I waited for a couple hours after the scheduled appointment time. When I called to ask if they were coming out they told me to wait to see if I was on their schedule. They confirmed I was, and said they were backed up and would not make it out that day. A new appointment date and time was scheduled. When this day and time came they still showed up 2 hours later than I was told. They did a quick assessment of the project and determined they did not have the required materials to complete the job that day. We then scheduled for another day when they would be able to install the line. At least this time I recieved a courtesy call to say they were on their way (still past the scheduled time). When they started the work it went fairly smooth, other than a couple trips to pick up needed fittings/parts. I am happy with the quality of the work done, however I am not impressed on the customer service side of the company. When you say you are showing up at a certain time, show up. I realize unplanned issues arise occasionally, but a courtesy call should not be neglected. I wish I had a better experience because I liked the plumber. However, I would probably look elsewhere for a future plumbing issue due to this lack of customer courtesy.

The only thing I would report is that someone in the office failed to order the specific heaters I wanted when I ordered the first time so there was a delay in the project. I then talked with the owner who happens to know me and things started to happen!
Description of Work: Replaced two 40 gallon gas water heaters to include gas piping and vent repairs. Great workmanship, cleaned up after himself and very reasonably priced when compared to other bids I had.
