Description of Work: Contractors left a hole in the roof approximately 2"x8". I tried to call them several times they haven't returned my calls. They haven't given me a receipt for my check, although they have certainly deposited it. Now I guess I'll have to get a lawyer.

 + 0 moreMy experience with JS Construction was great and I highly recommend this company! They were punctual, professional and their work was quality all the way! They started and finished on time, just as we discussed. The job cost exactly what was quoted. In the future if I build another garage or a new house, I'll call JS Construction.

 + -1 moreI will not go into details for legal reasons. Just make sure you have a very clear contract. In the end we had no garage from him but we didn't lose money.
Description of Work: All I can say is be very very careful. Our troubles started when he never got back to us for over a month and it got extremely bad after that.

 + -1 moreThe crew started when they said they would. Everything was planned to the nth degree. The carpet was painstakingly protected and messes were kept to a minimum and the area was cleaned up regularly. Trash was taken away. As of today the project is not quite complete, but Joe assures us we can move our furniture in on Saturday--less than 15 days from the beginning of the project. In the spring we plan to start on another round of renovations on the outside of the house. We plan to use JS Construction to: Build a retaining wall to create extra parking area. Enlarge the deck and replace the railing. Install beams in the roof peaks to give the house a timber frame appearance. Paint the entire exterior. Put in a sidewalk to the front door. Change the decking and railing on the front porch. I have conficence in JS Construction and know that all the jobs are well done with great care and craftsmanship. Please do not hesitate to use them.
Description of Work: We just purchased a home in Missoula and had quite an extensive list of things to do to make it ours. Our realtor suggested JS Construction, which turned out to be great. Joe Stanford went through the property with us and made a list of all of our wishes. He listened and then made some great suggestions on materials to use and suppliers. He promptly gave us a bid and we prioritized our project into what we could afford. Prior to moving in we had Joe and his crew: Renovate a plain gas fireplace with a stone face, wood mantle & corbels and granite hearth, making it a showpiece. Retile an entry and bathroom floor. (Wes from Eagle Eye Tile did the floors) Replace countertops with granite, replacing the sinks and faucets. Install a mosaic tile backsplash in the kitchen. Painted the entire first floor with different colors in the different areas. (Ty, his painter, is FANTASTIC!) Replaced white builder-grade trim around the windows, doors and baseboardswith stained alder. (Sam--the S in JS--is an amazing carpenter). Had an additional light installed in the living room ceiling and made a previously installed sound system operational. (Tim, the electrician)
