Description of Work: Work involved installing a door with sidelight and a 3-part window in an existing building. Aaron was careful to ensure that when completed the door and window looked like it had always been there. His work was done carefully and all resulting scraps, debris and unneeded materials were removed and the area was vacuumed. He did a superb job for a reasonable fee.

Description of Work: After 4 months job just started- costing me planned rental income, not able to move into home from across state, unable to get a different contractor until he left but he would not leave then took 3 months to almost finish bedroom,short hall and bath floors and walls. Never did what I asked only the way he wanted. Just hung out there and suspected he was sleeping or had his infant and toddler most of the time he was on the job site. Then when I fired him he call just before Christmas yellling he wanted his money or would put a lein on my house. His wife had hand delivered a bill for $5,985.13 that included $2,385.13 materials & $3,600.00 labor. I told her I want to see the receipts since I bought and paid for the materials and he chared $20.00 per hour upon agreement. His original promised estimate was written as about $1,004.00. He has now started the law suit. He was supposed to have my outside house painted, and inside remodeled in 4 bedrooms,3 baths,kitchen to prepare for new cabinet's, and one great room. He never finished the bedroom and bath downstairs. The rest of the house cost $8, 000.00 to finish plus additional repairs included. Aaron White- The handyman brought in a friend to do the outdoor paint who charged me $400.00 more , in October. He also charged me $400.00 more to replace the front entry porch ,that was already taken down,and his original agreed price included taking it down.. His quality of work on the deck was good. The quality of the work in the house was bad: He left 2 nail holes in a new tub I had just had installed from using it as a trash can and apparently stepping into it allowing nails to puncture. ( I found the nail that fit into the holes near on the floor nearby) The electrical outlet did not work for the washer: it was the wrong kind and he put it in. There were many examples of shoddy workmanship. I am a disabled, elderly woman who was moving to be near my daughter and grandchildren in the dry, warm month;. I missed that time since I had to manage this project myself because of his neglect,I am asked to give an unreasonable amount of money for a bad job and fabricated costs. He comes off being very passive and understanding then took advantage of my situation and became extremely aggressive.
