Summit Computer Systems

The computer was fixed in a couple of days. I preordered the part from HP using the serial number from my computer. They sent the right fan and wrong heat sink, but there was nothing wrong with the heat sink so it could be reused. The computer appeared to work great, but when I had to make a conference call there was no microphone connection or webcam. I had a service contract with Geek squad and it was evening so i tried them. They were totally worthless and rude. The technician didn't even properly trouble shoot the problem and hung up on me when I demanded to speak to his supervisor. (It had been a 20 minute wait before they picked up.) When I looked it up on line and did the trouble shooting, it was apparent that the connection wasn't good to the camera and audio. The Summit computer man immediately came out and took the computer apart again and fixed it for no extra money. It works great now, like a brand new computer.

Along my travels across country, my new HP laptop's screen broke. I called both Best Buy and HP to see how much it would be to fix it and if I was under warranty. Both places told me no warranty would cover it and my screen would cost close to $300 dollars to fix. I called around Missoula and found Summit Computers. He was out of town at the time and when he came back called me back. His price was half of HP. He ordered the part that day and a week later it was in. He picked up my computer and dropped it off within hours. The screen looks wonderful like nothing ever happened. It was a great experience. I highly recommend.

Friend of a friend had attempted to upgrade my pc, but crashed HDD instead. His "repairs" made pc slower and caused browsers to crash repeatedly. Knowing something was very wrong, I found referal online to Scott at SCS. Scott was able to come soon after my initial phone call. He was courteous and professional, kept me apprised of status, even when encountering repeated problems on old system. He charged very reasonable rates for both parts and labor. Highly recommend his services!
