Not well ,, BUT THE PROBLEM WAS NOT WITH SIERRA PACIFIC OF MISSOULA. Most of the problem was with a contractor that cut corners and cheapen the project, Sierra Pacific makes products that are first rate . My wife went to visit with loren in Missoula Montana and felt very good about our choice of S.P. windows and doors , I spent a lot of time checking out this company and waited a long time to have there products. Here's the problem the contractor told me that he could receive the same product through his account for far less buying directly from the factory, no middle man. BUYER BEWARE THERE IS NO MIDDLE MAN WITH SIERRA PACIFIC, THEY OWN EVERYTHING FROM THE FORREST , MILL, MANAFACTOR,,AND SALES NO MIDDLE MAN.. IF YOUR CONTRACTOR TELLS YOU HE CAN GET THEM ANY WHERE OTHER THAN THE SP STORE THEN FIRE HIM NOW. The product he is looking at is a company that S.P. owns and is a middle of the road window if you're contractor is trying to line his pocket he will do it here. The only fault of Sierra Pacific is putting there name on the stickers of the glass in big letters ..it should say Sierra Economy line or HURD by sierra pacific,,..,, something so it dose not cheapen there real product that is top shelf!!!

Numerous problems were encountered through the entire construction process. More problems were discovered after the home was completed and I had moved in. During construction several windows came in and didn't fit; these had to be reordered. Others were installed and required extra carpenters' labor to adjust, caulk, etc. to make them fit. Some of this extra labor expense was reimbursed, but I don't believe all of it was passed on to the homeowner. The windows that didn't fit were just left on the property. Per my request, some of them were removed much later, but not all. After moving in and having the windows cleaned, a manufacturing defect was discovered. Some 40 panes of glass had to be replaced because a blue film of cleaning liquid had been left between the panes of glass. It was the homeowner who had to document each of these. With most windows sunlight had to be coming in at a certain angle and time of day in order to see the blue film. But I was told that the warranty applied and every pane that showed the blue film would be replaced. However, even after replacing 30 panes of glass, Sierra Pacific wouldn't take my word that the film was showing up in more windows. Fortunately most of them were so bad that my camera was able to pick it up (that's pretty bad) and I had pictures to prove it. It took Sierra Pacific over a year to finally replace every defective glass. During that time they came out and measured (keep in mind they also had the dimensions from the original order); however many times the replacement was ordered, then came in sized wrong and had to be ordered again. Sierra Pacific made very little effort to work around my schedule with these many appointments, despite the fact that I dealt with the district manager, Eric Dawald many times. The installers, in particular a man named Charlie, were very rude and made no apologies for the inconvenience they caused; especially when they came out with the wrong glass and had to reschedule still another appointment due to their error. When I complained about the exterior doors warping and failing to close properly, it was Charlie who slammed the rough and sticky doors' hardware shut and told me the problem was I didn't know how to close the door properly. After a year of this, finally the last defective pane was replaced. They installed this last garage window, then left the property without a word to anyone, even though my construction superintendent was here. It was his crew who fixed the doors and door hardware. Good bye and good riddance to Sierra Pacific Windows; a business selling a lousy product, giving even lousier customer service.
Description of Work: Sierra Pacific Windows was hired by my home builder to supply the windows and some exterior doors for my large custom home in Missoula, Montana. Windows and doors were selected, sized and ordered directly from the architect's blueprints.
