Description of Work: The company demolished the old concrete driveway that had been broken up by tree roots. After the completion of the breakup and hauling off the old stuff, more material was removed so that the new pad would be at least 6" thick. Material was brought in and tamped down, re-bar installed and -- oh,yeah, a number of large tree roots were cut out and removed! The new concrete was poured early on the third day, finished in time for the afternoon rainstorm to come along, so we had to cover it with tarps to keep it from washing away! All old material was removed, clean-up was done in a timely way, and there were smiles every day from every worker. Great Job! (The said they were used to doing 100-yard jobs, and the 8 yard job was a different experience!
