Moores Carpet Care

This guy was going door to door and having a har time economically. I gave him a job cleaning my carpets, cleaning out my garage and storage area and helping me with a rummage sale. I paid him a lot of money in advance to help him and his family out as they were really stuggling. He did not finish the job. He kept making promises but finally just disappeared when he got a better contract.

The owner of Moores showed up late, but he had called to let me know. When he arrived, his tank in the truck was frozen and didn't work at first after he got the hoses set up. After talking about having two dogs and a cat, he suggested an additional pet cleaner to be added to his normal solution, so I agreed for an additional $50. It turns out, I believe the pet solution didn't exist, at least I couldn't tell the difference in odor or appearance of my carpet in the couple areas that I had used Resolve to clean pet accidents. The steamer fluffed up the carpet, but it didn't get the main traffic areas deep cleaned like I was hoping for. The carpet took longer than we expected to dry and we couldn't put back some of the furniture until the next day. He moved the steamer head so fast accross the carpet that it didn't pick up the dirt like it should have. He almost ran out of water in the tank (once it thawed) when he was working his way toward the entry, which was one of the highest traffic areas of our carpet. He said it worked out just right, but I think he was short on supplies. The entire cleaning job could have been accomplished in a more professional way. I won't be calling them again for services.

John Moore has been cleaning our carpets, twice a year for the past 4 years. I called him the morning of the accident with my dog. He was able to come to our house that morning!! He also cleans upholstery, and your car. John and his wife are so friendly, and would highly recommend them.. They do a tremendous job! AAA+
