+ -1 moreWe used Jack Wade to sell our Missoula, MT home and recommend him without qualification. You only know how good someone is when things get tricky, which they did on our transaction. He navigated health issues on my part which restricted when/how the home could be shown and other challenges including the buyers' initial financing falling through at the last minute. That ended up delaying, but not preventing, closing the transaction. Multiple times he called on contacts he has developed who could get whatever needed to be done taken care of promptly. I am convinced that our deal would not have closed with a less experienced, diplomatic, patient, professional, flexible agent--he even pet sat the dog one afternoon in order for the house to be shown. We cold called him, having done an internet search of top real estate agents in Missoula, interviewing a total of four from our search and referrals. We believe all could have sold the house, most for a reasonable price. He did so in an attractively short time frame . We are very pleased with our decision to use Jack and would use him again without hesitation.

+ -1 moreHe came out, took pictures advertised extensively, showed the place cover though our place was 65 m from missoulate office. Took care of any and all contingencies that arose, explained problems and questions we had. He's very contentious in all of his dealings, with integrity and honesty.
Description of Work: Sold our property in superior mt. He went above and beyond his duties since we live out of state he took care of getting the different things done; like; making sure his wall was purified, septic pumped leaks taken care of, etc.

Description of Work: The money listed above was actually the cost of the home Jack helped me buy. He also succeeded in selling my other home for the larger amount. It was terrific for both homes. I love my new one!

+ -1 moreEmailed Jack about wanting to purchase a home in Missoula. He did respond after a day or so and we set up an appointment to meet. We did meet and told him our what we wanted in a home and asked if he knew a good mortgage broker. He was helpful and pleasant. He informed us he would be out of town for the remaining week but would send us a list of homes and for us to weed through them and pick what we would like to see. I had to go out of state the following week which I informed him. He did call while I was out of town and I explained that I would not get to the list until I returned. Once I returned I emailed him stating I was home but had a lot to catch up on. He did not respond. After a couple of weeks we emailed him a list of homes we would like to see. We have never received any kind of response. We have since found someone that appears to want our business.
Description of Work: Wanted Jack to show us homes in the Missoula area based on Angies list reviews regarding real estate agents.

He separated himself from others with his knowledge and specific examples of successful sales made in the past. Throughout the process Jack ensured we got answers to our questions and ensured us of his efforts to sell our homes. He helped us sell two homes and was able to successfully negotiate our new home purchase quickly knowing we only had a short window to close before being homeless. We would recommend Jack to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

Jack was helpful in providing information on local leaders that were able to be problem solvers rather than problem makers. He was able to connect us to a great home inspector (pre sale) and other local contractors (post sale) who were all of the same high quality and integrity as Jack. Jack was instrumental in the sale of our two homes on the east coast, he investigated and interviewed realtors in the east coast ERA office and provided a recommendation to us -which lead to the sucessful sale of both homes. We found Jack to be excellent and strongly recommend him to others seeking a home in Western Montana.
Description of Work: We had decided to live our dream to move to Montana after living on the east coast. We had settled on western Montana, but did not have any information on real estate agents in the area, searching on Angie's List we found Jack Wade's reviews - he is highly regarded by his clients (and now to us). In April , we reached out to Jack and told him of our goal and desirable home features. We made plans to travel to Missula in late June to look at properties. He assisted us in looking at twelve properties in two days and found our new home on the first day, returning for a second look the next day. We were able to write a contract and have it accepted within a few days. Jack led us through the in's and out's of home purchase in Montana from home inspectors to leaders and tittle companies. We settled on our new home on in August 2012, We could not have been happier.

Jack helped us to quickly get oriented and identify the type of house we wanted by listening to us. He is not a "salesman" and made us feel that he had all the time in the world to assist us. Jack actually found our house for us before it was formally listed. We couldn't be happier. Because Jack has remodeled his own homes, he was a fantastic resource for remodeling ideas, contractors and a variety of other information. We emailed and called him for two years after we closed on our house for advice. He is just a great person and we highly recommend him.

It was obvious that Jack had extensive experience in situations like ours because he knew exactly what to do and was able to produce a solid written offer that was tailored to our needs. We felt completely taken care of and had no legal concerns as his professionalism was outstanding. The closing was not delayed even by a single day! We will certainly use Jack again in the future if we need to sell and/or buy!
Description of Work: Jack Wade was the real estate agent who helped my wife and I purchase a home in Missoula. He showed us numerous options in our price range and preferred locations before showing us the home we would eventually buy. As we had to first sell our then current home (out of state), Jack suggested we make an offer that would allow us to rent from the seller before purchasing so that we could move in right away. His written offer even included a lease contract along with the purchase option. The initial offer was accepted and we moved in five days later. After 2 1/2 months of renting, we were able to sell our home in Oregon and we closed on the new house in Missoula shortly after that.

He did a great job of keeping the tenants informed so that none of them left in the transition. He did a great job. I would use his service in the future.

He wasn't trying just to make a sale, and he would sometimes point out a house's drawbacks that I wouldn't have thought of. He wants his buyers to be happy with their purchase. I would definitely use his services again.
Description of Work: Jack Wade showed us at least 60 houses over three months, several of them twice. Many times he gave me a ride when I was without a car. He helped us find an inspector and a great mortgage broker.

Description of Work: My wife and I have used Jack to purchase two homes and recommended him to friends and family. The first home we purchased with Jack was our first. We were scared uninformed and did not no what we wanted or what we could afford. Jack was able to educate us on the process, recommended competent and helpful lenders, contractors and inspectors. Most importantly Jack was patient and insightful. The process of finding a home that fit our needs and dreams was difficult, especially because we did not know what our dreams were. Jack showed us houses and studied our reactions to them and helped us narrow down what was most important to us. It was obvious he put time and thought into every house he showed us and had specific reasons why he thought it might fit. After our second son was born we decided we needed a bigger home. With Jack's help we found just what we were looking for. The house we found was a bank owned property. The bank that owned the house was in New York, the company they hired to handle the sale was in Florida, the employee put in charge of handling the sale was in California, and the closing agent was in Texas. Needless to say things were difficult and frustrating. Jack's professionalism held the deal together when it looked hopeless several times. If you are looking for a real estate agent I strongly recomend you call Jack. I think you will find him honest, trustworthy, intelligent, hardworking and committed.
