+ -1 moreThis was a miserable experience. I nearly lost the insurance on my home because of lack of progress. He began the project as agreed, then disappeared to another job. Another contractor working for me repeated that Gus had said to him that I wasn't a priority project. Gus was thoroughly unreliable and difficult to deal with. Upon informing him that I was hiring someone else to complete the roof, he refused to release the material I had already purchased. Since I had payed for those separately, I was able to get those and had to hire a new roofer to complete the job. Do not hire this contractor unless you want to be ripped off and have shoddy workmanship done on your home or business.
Description of Work: I hired Gus to re-roof my home. He had done work for me in the past and I was pleased with the cost and the result. This time however, he started the roof on schedule then disappeared with my money in hand to start other jobs and never completed mine. What little work he did complete before disappearing was poorly and dangerously done and had to be redone by a subsequent contractor.

+ -1 moreThe whole experiance was horrible, I am so frustrated and angry over this. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!!!!
Description of Work: I hired Gus's Roofing to put a new roof on my business. At the start of the job he showed up on time and was very nice and seemed to have the job handled. Well to start, he kept asking for and advance on the unfinished parts of my roof, I began to wonder why he needed more money, well finding out that I had also refered this company to a friend. At the same time he got money for that roof as well. But neither roof was getting done. So I did some research on this guy. Found out that he takes the money from one job to pay for the work on another job. Never finishes proper my roof still leaks. Overall I would say that this company is a scandalous one and should not get any more business. I believe that his license should be revoked and no longer allowed to do roofing at all. And I do hope that no one uses him in the future. If you want to be ripped off and have a leaky roof hire Gus's Roofing.
