Description of Work: They gave us a bid to fix an existing fence. The bid was 875.00 for repairs. With 450.00 down. They replaced 2 posts and said thats all they are repairing charching the full price of 875.00. That is not what they told us before we made our down payment. The person we talked to in person told us they would fix the fence not just replace two posts. They are scamming customers. Don't hire them if you except a respectable and honest fence company. My bad for expexting a professional for 875.00. Don't hire Grizzly Fence of Missoula.

Description of Work: Grizzly Fence built a cedar fence around the side and front of our property. It is a beautiful fence that they constructed according to our custom specifications. We were frustrated several times by lack of responsiveness to phone calls to the point that after waiting for days, my husband had to go to the office to get a response. However, they did do a great job and we would use them again.

Description of Work: Performed job when they said they would. Fence and gate performing well. Price seemed high but did not get any other quotes. Would recommend.

 + -1 moreIn early June we got 3 estimates and Grizzly fence said they could get the job done by July 1st when I was bringing our dog to the house. They had the highest price but could do the job in the time we needed, so we went with them. June 24th - Grizzly fence contacted us saying a machine broke and they can't do the job on time. We ask for a discount and Grizzly said they see no reason for a discount even though we tell them the issue. Both my wife and I were quite upset, if we had known they couldn't complete the job by the date we would have gone with one of the other contractors. (This is the largest fence company in Missoula and I'm surprised they didn't have more than 1 machine to do the work.) July 1st - Two Grizzly fence workers came out and installed the posts and said they would be back on the 5th to install the rest of the fence. July 2 - I arrived with the dog and we (my wife and I) had to go purchase and install temporary fencing for the dog. THIS TOOK TIME AND $$$ OUT OF OUR VACATION TIME! July 5 - The same two Grizzly fence workers came and finished the job. They were professional and did a quality job. I spoke with them about the issue and one gentleman said he was sorry about it and that they really appreciated getting the job. I know the workers were just doing their job and it's not their fault. I feel we should have gotten a discount because of the time and effort we had to go through because Grizzly fence couldn't meet the time they promised. Because of that, I give them a less than average rating.
Description of Work: We needed our yard fenced in for our dog by July 1st. Most of the yard was fenced, all that was needed was some additional fence and a person gate on one side of the house and a drive through gate on the other.
