Description of Work: I dropped into his place of business, as I saw the sign whilst passing by. My visit was totally unannounced.. I had a failed Samsung S3 cell phone. He dropped what he was doing, disassembled my phone and tried several different motherboards which he had. None worked so he said that I could by a new MB on line. He then searched for and found one on eBay. When I asked him if he would fix the phone, he said that there was no reason as I could easily do it myself . . . and then gave me set of screw drivers and other tools to perform the job! I insisted on paying him which he refused. I then forced the issue saying that he had been a great help to me, handing him $20. BTW, although I am not knowledgeable in the innards of a cell phone, but I am a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer and am very computer saavy, even building and maintaining computers for a number of people, so I consider myself qualified to judge his knowledge; therefore I can say that he was: Super Knowledgeable! Cooperative! Fair to a fault! I would definitely use him again in a heartbeat! Montana Bob

+ -1 moreI called several stores to get estimates on the cost of repairing my screen. His estimate was the lowest and so I made an appointment to have the screen replaced. He ordered my screen and then called to keep me updated when it did not arrive as planned. When it arrived I took in my phone and left it with him for a few hours to have it repaired. When i came back to get it he help me add a few accessories I had purchased elsewhere on to the phone (like a very difficult to put on otterbox). This guy even helped me fix my settings a few days later after I messed them up for no charge. He was honest and did a fantastic job on the repair.
Description of Work: I broke the screen on my Droid and needed to have it replaced.
