overall the installation started out good. the rep for manhattan plumbing( Brent Wilting ) was very cordial and informative. the drillers arrived about 2 weeks late to install the geothermal field, due to weather and delays on a previous job. when i was told they use bentonite in their process i questioned the possibility of it migrating to my well. i was told that could not happen. i now run all my well water thru two filters which are changed monthly to eliminate the bentonite in my well. manhattan plumbing showed up on time to install the furnace and connect the field, however they soon fell behind because they were shorthanded and we were so far frm their office, about 70 miles. since then they were scheduled to do routine checkups per the warranty schedule. brent would call to say he would be up and then not show, and not call. he might call a day or two later and say something came up and he would try again. one time when he did show up a comment was made to him about being 4 hours late ( the time it would take to make a round trip to their office from my home) and we were pretty much told to just be glad he had even showed up. currently we are having a problem with the unit and it keeps shutting down and giving us an error code. this should be covered under warranty. I have been contacting brent wilting since end of july- early august and was told we were sceduled for end of august for service. it is now sept. 17 and I cannot even get a call back.
