 + 5 moreRick Thornburg of Montana Design, Drafting & Development submitted a proposal for the design and construction of a home office system, consisting of a desk, book case, and credenza. I paid him $1650 for the deposit / purchase of materials. After he took my money he became difficult to contact and was non responsive to my phone calls and e-mails. After several months of trying to work things out with Mr. Thornburg it was agreed he was at fault for not providing the services he promised to provide a complete refund to me. We both agreed that he would make monthly payments, due by the 10th of each month, in the amount of $300. I received one payment of $300 from him and nothing thereafter. All attempts to contact and collect on this debt have been unsuccessful. Mr. Thornburg continues to be unresponsive and I feel as if I have been ripped off.
Description of Work: Service was for custom design and construction for home office; paid $1650 for materials / deposit but work never done / materials never received. Attempts to negotiate a refund / payment schedule not successful. Rick Thornburg will not respond to attempts to contact and he still owes me money.
