This guy took our money, tore the roof off and we never saw him again. Him and his crew showed up to our house high and late when he did work. My mother is in her 70's and this guy took all of her money and ran. We filed a police report but nothing happened because he moved out of town.

Gary and his crew are very professional in every aspect. They are courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, and are a joy to work with. We knew within the first few days that we had the BEST General Contractor to do our work and would not hesitate for a second to hire him again or to recommend him with highest accolades. His contract was fair and well laid out and it was easy to understand every aspect of the job. Gary has a crew that seem to have mutual respect for each other and work well together. Gary does a fantastic job as the General Contractor and is excellent at keeping the work flowing smoothly from contractor to contractor. He not only "runs the show" but does excellent work as one of the main demolition, framing, painting, woodworker and finishers. (By the way, Derek, Gary's right hand man, is awesome in his own right!) Gary is a stickler for keeping a clean and safe workplace and we were impressed at how hard he and Derek worked at that aspect of the job. I wanted to hire them after the job to do my housekeeping! Gary is very proficient at his work and has a fine eye for what will look right and what won't. He knows how to make a remodel all come together so that the original and the new blend together seamlessly. He is willing to listen to the homeowner's concerns and give direction and insight where it is needed. He helps the homeowner "see" the end product and helps in the decision making process if asked. I would hire Gary Nash in an instant for any projects we may have in the future!

Therefore I lost a month and have to find a new roofing contractor. It seems this contractor is only interested in doing big, and therefore lucrative jobs.

Gary is a delight to work with. The job went smoothly and was professionally done in every aspect. I would hire Gary in a second for any new building or remodel I may have in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a General Contractor. Gary not only manages the job with utmost professionalism, but is a master craftsman himself. He has an expert eye for detail and will make your house look better than you ever imagined.

We had an idea of how we wanted it done and Gary was the contractor we chose to do the job. He was very willing to listen to us and gave us great insight in how to better utilize our space and alter our vision, for the better, to get extra workable space. He was fantastic to work with and very professional. His attention to detail and cleanliness was very much appreciated. We have small children so he was very conscientious about ensuring all nails and wood were picked up every day as the boys would always like to come down and see how the work had progressed while they were at school. We split our basement into a bedroom/den and an entertainment/family room with a utility/storage closet. Both rooms are very comfortable in size, and we were able to utilize french doors that give the illusion of a bigger space when necessary. The french doors also offer privacy when needed, but smoked glass in the doors still provide a lot of natural light in the family room even if the doors are closed to the bedroom/den. He was on budget and on time.

He was exceptional. We originally hired him to just replace the top decking. However after the old decking was removed, he noticed a lot of original construction defects that were a safety hazard. He fixed all the issues and made sure the deck was foundation was 100% solid before he added the new decking. It added about a week to the project, be we really appreciated his attention to detail and absolutely love our new deck!

Gary was one of three bids and he was the lowest of the bids. At first, I was a little concerned thinking there's a reason he's lower. However, when I asked him for some references from past jobs, I got an overwhelming response that Gary was one of the best contractors any of the references had worked with. Since Gary has started, he's been on time and on budget. In fact, he also replaced our doors through out the house with solid core, and noticed some faulty install that he corrected. I would definitely recommend Gary Nash Construction to anyone looking for a general contracot!
