The company installed 12 recessed pot's (cans) of the brand Juno in my house with the ceiling completely open and scaffolding already available for easy access. The job was not completed, except for the pot's installed and the wiring roughed in due to a very bad attitude from the owner when he commented on my own wiring, which we had previously agreed upon that he was ok with me doing. When I received the invoice, I noticed that I was way over-charged for both material and time.First thing wrong was that I was charged for 400' of 12/2 wire, even thou the company used 200' of that exact wire that I had already purchased. So they claim to have used 600' of 12/2 to hook up 12 pots in the ceiling in a room measuring 21' x 17' with an average of 12'ceilings (vaulted).Next thing wrong was that I was charged for 56' of 12/3 wire going across an door opening measuring 9'.In total I was charged $790.60 in material for 9 pots @ $20, 3 pots @ $60 and the above mentioned wiring. Something that should have cost no more than max $450.Further I was charged for "Trouble shooting" of which there was nothing, and 10 hours @ $55 for installing the pots and running the wires. Something that I could have done myself in probably 6 hours. When talking to Scott, the owner, he claimed that they did not use my wire and that he was "very trustworthy". Never the less he immediately offered to take $200 of the invoice, which totaled $1,340. All-in-all this guy is not to be trusted and simply just try to over-charge you for the job done and I would never use him again nor recommend his company to anyone.
