Our basement was recently framed out and sheet rocked. I had considered painting it myself but it would have taken months to finish in my spare time. I made the phone call after finding the name on Angie's List and they were able to start work right away. The crew of 2 finished the job painting the basement rooms, hallways, stairwell in 2 1/2 days. They were punctual, arriving 20 minutes before 9 am, driving 2 hours one way to do the job. The crew was very careful but efficient, and quiet as they worked. No blaring music like other contractors. You could barely notice they were there working. The owner showed up first thing on the first day, taking my color samples and color matching perfectly using his paint source. And the crew cleaned up the work area nice and tidy. The gentleman that runs the company hails from the mid west so the work ethic is apparent in the quality of the painting job. I can see why much of their work involves high end homes - their work is flawless. No trim work was done as the trim has yet to be installed once the flooring goes in, but I imagine the quality of their trim work is very good, also. I am very pleased with the results.

First of all, the front steps looked like they had before staining less than 6 months later! The back balcony stain was fine, except they left a huge mess on our windows, back deck and log siding....nothing was taped off or protected with plastic. And finally, the interior stairwell had spots that they didn't even paint and paint was dripped on my carpet. We were very dissatisfied with the quality of work. And won't bother asking them to return. We have since had our log steps stained properly by Flathead Home Repair...roughly 3 months ago. It looks great...and they stained all of our other decks and will be staining 2 of the 4 sides of our 5,500' log home, including log arch over driveway entrance within the year.

Dealing with Tom at Signature Painting was a pleasure from the beginning. The work started on time and the painting crew were very professional and the work done was excellent. There were no issues or problems - Tom and his crew were on top everything - every step of the job.

Tom and his crew were clean and professional from the start. This job was a huge undertaking and full of challenges from dealing with custom made wood doors that had to be adjusted many times (and re finished each time), to working around other contractors who did not have the punctuality or communication that they displayed. The weather was also a challenge as the work was started late in the fall and not able to be completed until late the next year. Through the long process of getting this job done there was never any doubt that it was a top priority for them to finish in a timely manner with out sacrificing quality . Because of the nature of the project being such that there were long segments of time when the project could not be worked on, Tom had other jobs going on in the mean time. Knowing this was the case I was very impressed when we would call and ask for the next step to be done there would be someone there the next day! When there was an issue with a product failure is when we really found out the difference between Signature Painting and the other contractor on the project. Tom stood behind his work and was always doing all he could to get to the bottom of the issue and in the process spent many hours and dollars out of his pocket trying to resolve it. When things don't go right (though no fault of theirs) is when you find out what kind of contractor you have hired. Tom communicated with the manager of the building on and ongoing basis.They were so pleased with Tom and his company that they added other work to the list of projects they wanted painted. This job could have turned into a huge fiasco for us and a very valued customer. I cannot thank him enough. When the job was finally finished we were pleased and somewhat surprised to find that there were NO added charges for all the extra time and materials used. I want to stress that the redoes may have nearly DOUBLED the time spent on site from the original estimate. Hire this company if you want quality that is backed 100% even when the issue is the material NOT the craftsmanship.
