Mark did a great job! He was punctual and very responsive to my inquiries. He very well explained the system and was excellent in everyway. I was originally going to hire an independent stereo installer, but he was not responsive to my questions and was very expensive. After a number of frustrations, I went to Best Buy to price a system, and found the salesperson to be very knowledgeable and helpful. Then the Geek Squad came out and really put things in perspective. I am very pleased with the entire process with both Best Buy and the Geek Squad.
Description of Work: Installed ceiling and outdoor speakers and hooked up entire stereo system.

Best Buy lost a good customer for we have made numerous purchases, i.e. 2 Wiis; big screen tv; Canon SDLR camera with lenses and filters; a total of 3 computers and a lot of other geek type stuff such as hard drives, thumb drives, routers, modems.
Description of Work: Purchased my Computer (Asus for about $1,000) from Best Buy nearly 3 yrs ago. I also purchased the 3 year warranty (approx $300). Thank goodness I purchased the warranty because my computer has been back to Best Buy approx 10 times...... 3 of which were the same week of purchase. We live approx. 15 miles one way from Best Buy so each trip cost me time and gas $$$$$. First time we took it back the agent told us it was sometime we did when we turned it on... it goofed up the hard drive. They worked on it in the store and sent us home with it. When we got home, it wouldn't connect to the internet. We took it back and they told us it was our internet, they did sometime to it and sent us home. The next night we were back. A different agent looked thru the computer and said it was the way it was set up. We got it home and finally it connected to the internet. Among numerous problems, it has continuously been slow and you can't be in more than 2 programs at once or you will crash both programs. After 7 trips back, I was told that numerous parts were replaced over the past 3 years and I basically have a new computer. I still wasn't happy with it and asked if I could just trade this one in and purchase a new computer and have somewhat of a credit on the new computer. I asked if I got a lemon and they indicated that there are o lemon computers. It was basically my fault because of all the junk I save on the hard drive. I have an external hard drive that I save everything to. I was further told that the extended warranty did not work that way and they would fix whatever needed repair. The last time it was in the shop it needed a new keyboard and mouse pad , I asked them to do a diagnostic on the computer due to all the issues and to let me know if I could add memory and how much that would cost. About 2 weeks later, I got a call to come in and get my computer. When I got their to pick up my computer, I had to throw a fit to get them to do the diagnostics on the dang thing. After another week, I got a call that my hard drive was bad. I took in the backup CD so they could restore everything. Not one mention of the memory and if I wouldn't have thrown a fit about the diagnostics I would have a computer with a bad hard drive. At any rate, I am now stuck with a piece of crap laptop that still doesn't work properly and I have no warranty! I will NEVER buy a computer from Best Buy. My daughter and husband have since purchased 2 laptops from another local store and have been happy with the computer (Toshibas) and have been pleased with the service. Best Buy lost us as customers!
