Problem fixed.

I received excellent service from Flo-rite. My hot water heater went out and they were completely booked, but they rearranged schedules so that we could have the new one installed the next day. Steve was able to determine the problem right away and was extremely knowledgeable about the problem. He explained the problem in laymen's terms and not condescending in any way. Steve came earlier than anticipated and installed the new water heater quicker than estimated as well. Everything was clean and tidy after the installation as well. So far, it's working great.

Very courteous, professional and responsive. Would (and have) recommended them to others!

I found Flo-rite listed on Angie’s list and decided to give them a try. They’re also the installers used by Lowe’s where we purchased the heat pump water heater. From the first call, Connie immediately contacted Mike and gave me an estimated time he’d be out. Mike was right on time. He looked at the old water heater and we discussed moving the new one to a more convenient location. Since that would involve some electrical work, Mike phoned the electrician they use and that guy came right out! Because of my work schedule it was a couple days until I could be home for installation of the new tank. Mike and his helper were punctual, professional, tidy and just overall good folks. I’m so glad to have found a plumbing shop I can trust and recommend.

I'm so happy I found Flo-Rite Plumbing! I needed someone to install a reverse osmosis system under my kitchen sink and replace my kitchen faucet with a new one I had. The plumber my landlord recommended said it would take a full day and wanted $350! It was not a full day's job. A friend recommended Flo Rite after John was sent out by Home Depot to install a water heater he had purchased there and did a great job. The price John quoted was very fair ($150 - his minimum) and he was punctual, professional, efficient (it took him just a little over an hour to do the entire job), and friendly. He did a great job and everything is working just fine. Connie, in his office, was super friendly too. I have no hesitation in recommending Flo Rite Plumbing.

I had tried to tighten a nut myself but it got worse. I was setting my alarm all night to get up and dump the pan that was catching the water. He came in and did the same thing I had done but knew more than I did and fixed it within seconds. It turned out to be a small fix and a much smaller price than it should have been. I would call them again.

Mike was amazing. He was extremely friendly and didn't mind my dogs. He was quick and didn't fluff the price. Basic visit price. I would use again and recommend.

The woman on the phone was very pleasant in setting up the appointment ahead of time. However, she did not mention that there would be a minimum charge of $150.00 just to show up at our door. And their ad in Angie's List does not mention a minimum charge like other plumbers do. The service man was pleasant also and he showed up right on time. I explained that the cold water to our washing machine was flowing very minimally. He explained that there are catch screens in the input feeds to the washing machine for both cold water and hot water. He checked both and spent about five minutes cleaning the cold water screen off; it had mineral and iron deposits from our well. Then the bad news: $150.00 please. I know Montana tradesmen are notorious for charging a lot because of the distances involved in doing business in sparsely settled Montana, but this really hit me. But since I hadn't asked ahead of time, I paid. But I will never use Flo-Rite again; way, way, way too expensive for what they provide. For about 10 minutes of work I got charged $150.00. Not happy! Not happy. Also a criticism of Angie's List. This is the second time I have had a highly rated provider of services (first an air conditioning/heating servicer and now a plumber, who are less than good. Find Consumer's Checkbook and other non-profit consumer organizations to be more reliable.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You... I called late Sunday afternoon saying I had water erupting from the floor in my bathroom by the toilet lines. He was unavailable at that time, but said shut your main off and I will get with you first thing Monday Morning. He called at 8 am and said he would be there between 10 and 11.... He was there at 9:45, Yes he was Early... They went right in and had replaced the shut off valve that had a hairline crack and also found that my tank had a "3 flush system" in it... I always wondered why my toilet flushed water down 3 times... He also replaced that to help cut my water usage. I will definitely call them the next time I have an emergency or need any updating or replacing of any plumbing needs.. Thank you again.

Two men (Mike and ____ ) showed up, went right to work, recognized the problem, diagnosed it properly and replaced a deteriorated gasket for the bathtub drain. The fixture was old and corroded, but they managed to dismantle it without breaking anything, cleaned it off and replaced the old gasket, while reusing the original fixtures. It was not a complicated problem, but the age of the fixtures made the repair difficult, and they did it within an hour. They were polite and personable, and didn't mind (I guess--at least they didn't show it if they did) my watching while they worked. Of course, they just left fifteen minutes ago, and it's possible that the tub will leak tomorrow or next week or next month, but for now, it looks good. The leak is fixed, and they assured me that if it continued to leak they'd be happy to re-repair it. I'd recommend this company.

I have been using his services since 2004. John is the owner and he has always done great work.

I would use them again in a heartbeat! We have been finishing our basement for a few years now project by project and needed our Jacuzzi Tub and Utility sink hooked up. I originally got an estimate from someone else locally and they told me that it was going to be upwards of $1000 and I never received a call back from them to schedule it. Discouraged, I searched for other companies locally with great reviews and came across Flo-Rite. I called them and they indicated that they were extremely busy due to frozen pipes from the cold weather but still managed to schedule me in within the week at their earliest availability. The plumber (Steve) showed up at the scheduled time, assessed the job, and was finished in about 3 hours at under 1/3 OF MY ORIGINAL COST ESTIMATE from the other plumber. VERY satisfied with the quality and efficient service that I received from Flo-Rite.

Great. They were very responsive, polite, professional and competent. Also, their estimates are reasonable and final bills are at or under original estimates.

Flo Rite Installed an 80 gallon electric water heater, in place of a 40 gal natural gas we had that was not working properly. We have had several repairs performed by them in the past, and they have been punctual, affordable, and professional every time. We actually let the technician, that had done the previous repairs, have access to the job while we were not home. They showed up at the scheduled time, performed the service better than we had expected, and left without us even being able to tell they were ever there. The install went without a hitch, and we felt completely comfortable with them in our home without supervision. They left no garbage or damage to existing equipment, and the new heater was exactly as described in the quote. The overall charges were less than the originally stated quote they had given us, much to our pleasant surprise. We would highly recommend them to anyone we know.

It went well. It was a tight fit but they finished the job in a timely manner and cleaned up when done. The owner even came by to make sure the priming went correctly. He even remembered us from a prior job years ago (it was so long ago, I didn't think he would remember).

Excellent! The service was fast and accurate, while the employee was there he also fixed my leaking kitchen sink and poor water pressure in the shower. Before he left he asked if there was anything else he could do. Checking to make sure that I wouldn't need to call them again but guaranteeing if needed they would come. It was great amazing service. Very professional and courteous.

First experience was great! Second experience was disappointing as they did not return either of our calls. We left voice mail messages twice asking them to call us.

They always do a great job. They are the ones that we use on a regular basis. Whenever you call them for something if there is something that comes up when they get there they take care of it. Even if it is not their reason for coming out they will still take care of it. Their service quite primarily is professional. They have great pricing.

It was a disaster from day 1. The only thing that went right is the upflush pump in the basement burned out on a Saturday morning and the son was very prompt in coming out and replacing it. Now after over 2 years they are trying to sue me as the contractor did not pay the balance of the contract to them.
