My experience with them went very well. He was extremely professional. I had multiple different companies come in and he was by far the most professional and most on the ball. Everybody else had to go back to their shop and then, I get an e-mail a week later. He did it right then and there and had everything right there for us. Their appraisals were actually all good. It was comparable to everybody else’s. They came out the day I called. They had a guy out here.

Left me waiting for over an hour until I called. I was put on hold...(very unprofessional manner) told someone was on their way and waited another hour. When they arrived, one of the men had such a terrible attitude that splattered his ego everywhere. He repeatedly told me his prices were high because his work was far superior to everyone's. In the end, the work they bid came in at over $15,000...I hired another reputable company and had the same job done for $6200! Their bid matched the attitude they showed up with and I wouldn't go near this company with a ten foot pole!

Called them to have some faucets and a kitchen sink installed. The faucets and sink were there it was just for install. The receptionist told me there was an 89$ fee to come out and that it would be included in the price if I proceed with the work once they had an estimate. I asked her for an approximate amount and she said she had no idea but once the plumber got there and gave us an estimate of over 1300$ he told us they go by a book price that was 225 for each bathroom faucet and 475 for the kitchen and 300plus for the kitchen sink......not sure if I have the exact amounts BUT the young lady should at least have been able to give me an idea so I could have know that I better shop around. It took one call to find another plumber that would do the same work for less than half of that price. They put a furnace in for me sometime ago and unfortunately I can't change that now but I will NEVER use them and will Never recommend them Cost me 89$ to learn that mistake.

This job went very well. Rob came and looked at the problem, which was a sluggish 20-year old natural gas water heater that needed replacement. He wrote an estimate and emailed it to me as we spoke. Josh came in a couple of days to do the removal, and installed the new water heater. He was careful with my new flooring, did clean and very neat work even though he needed to run to pick up a part he didn't have on the truck. He showed me how copper flex pipe would look and I didn't like it. I asked him to install solid pipe and he didn't hesitate at all. Cheery and competent work. No surprises and explained use and maintenance clearly.

They diagnosed a recurring problem with our drains and hydroscoured the main and branch lines, rectifying the problem. The work was done well and in a timely fashion. We ended up subscribing to their Comfort Care program for our furnace and fireplace, which provides a semi-annual check and filter replacement for $89 per checkup. Our furnace is 13 years old and has had some problems in the past, so we consider it good insurance for now.

As a and quot;preferredand quot; provider through NW Energy I used them to perform a routine check and maintenance on my gas heater. They originally scheduled me for their and quot;first available appointmentand quot; (8am) and when the tech did not show up by 8.35am I called and he had just gotten into the office! I rescheduled for 8am the following week. The tech arrived on time, and charged me $175 for the advertised $79.00 special. During the service he informed me that there was a and quot;sump pumpand quot; that was inoperable... That was another $375. I called the main office the next day and they corrected the over charge but then charged me $50 extra to complete the NW Energy forms! (that is what the refund is for NW Energy). I dont think much of their business model=screw the consumer out of money! \ I will NOT use their services again.

Rob Heavilin (master plumber) came out and was worried that my problem was old pipes he had already been relacing up and down my street due to them being installed in the 30's..turned out tho that I was lucky..I had ceramic pipes and lots of tree roots..he used a camera so that I could see into the pipes myself it was awsome .he was very friendly and very professional.he got rid of the roots ..and guaranteed them for a year..I highly recomend their services

Called Central to have my in-home AC inspected and diagnosed. I was told that my $89 would include a thorough inspection and diagnosis of the issue. However, when the technician arrived, he informed us that $89 would cover only his having shown up, and that we would have to pay (quite a bit) extra for the inspection and diagnosis. I let him know what I was told, and that this was unacceptable. He agreed to honor what I was told on the phone, and provided a diagnosis, and later a quote to complete any necessary work. I was shocked to discover that Central wanted to charge me nearly $1200 to replace a thermal expansion valve - a sub-two-hundred-dollar part on an exterior line! Needless to say, they are off and quot;my listand quot;.

My elderly mother's (85 years old) hot water tank went out late one evening. She called me at work in a panic wanting to know if I could help her find a 24/7 plumbing service. I gave her the number to Central Heating, Cooling, Electrical, and Plumbing. I will forever regret that decision. Even though they advertise as a 24/7 service they had nobody able to respond. They explained there would be a minimum cost of $69 for a call out and could dispatch someone the following morning. My mother agreed to the charge. A crew of two showed up the following morning a few minutes after 9:30 a.m. They assessed the situation and relayed to my mother that her tank was beyond repair and needed replaced. My mother then asked for an estimate. They replied, and quot;We don't give estimates. But the job will take five hours.and quot; My mother then asked them to perform the replacement. They left to retrieve a hot water tank from their warehouse. They arrive back at my mother's and finish the job at 11:20 a.m. Just under two hours of labor including the time they spent retrieving materials. The total charge was $2400! My mother was shocked at the charges and they and quot;kindlyand quot; gave her a 10% discount. Total being $2205. In her disbelief and shock she handed them $2200.05. At this point she was totally confused due to the sticker shock, and the worker scratched off the $5 and said the $2200 was enough. She was so upset with herself she called me in a state of regret. Having had three tanks replaced in my home over a period of 10 years I never paid over $800 (and that was with more extensive work than just a tank replacement). I then explained to her she had been taken. Having worked construction, dealt with plumbers, and currently working for a utility company I knew the cost was beyond reason. On my advise she called for a few estimates from other local plumbing companies. The total cost of replacement ranged from $775 to $925, which included labor. She immediately called them back and said, and quot;I think I've just been ripped off.and quot; She was transferred to a service manager who took her complaint. He asked her to call all the companies back and ask them what model of tank they would install. He then told her she would be contacted the following morning at 10:00 a.m. I then called every local warehouse, supplier, and local brick and mortar business that stocked hot water tanks. The most expensive tank I could find for her was just over $900 retail (and you know they aren't paying retail for their material). Median price $450. Which means she was being charged over $600 an hour for labor. If you factor in they had two workers and their wages were split, that would still be over $300 an hour for labor. The 10:00 a.m. call came and went with them saying they would try to work with her on the cost but needed some time. My sister called them from Oregon and gave them the ultimatum...they had one hour to give her half her money back or retrieve their tank or else we would contact the Montana Attorney General because it was a case of taking advantage of the elderly. It's funny to note that at this time the service manager told my sister that they had actually lost money on this deal. LOST MONEY BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T CHARGE HER ENOUGH TO BEGIN WITH! Respond in one hour they did, they came and retrieved the tank. My brother-in-law was on hand at this time and asked the worker how they came up with their charges. The worker told him it was an $800 tank, and they had also used some fittings. He then asked, and quot;Well how can you justify $1400+ in labor?and quot; He was told, and quot;Well that's labor plus cost.and quot; He told him it still didn't make sense. Guess what? It still doesn't make sense! Central actually sent a card to my mother stating they were sorry and no hard feelings, and they hope she would still reconsider using them in the future. The job was completed shortly after they removed their tank. Cost? Just under $700.

i have used Central several times. They are always courteous and professional. I found their pricing to be reasonable compared to some of the other places I have called.

They did a good job. They were pretty quick and professional. They were on time and I think they really stand behind their work.

Besides the cost of the service call they charged $171 dollars for the sensor. At the time I said that the part seemed way to expensive but they confirmed the price. I went on line with the same part number and found out it was being sold by numerous vendors for around $10 dollars. This firm is not fair with there customers and should not be used in any situation. After finding out the cost of the part I told them I was reporting them to Angie's list and to other online sources at which point they refunded my money.
