Bug Hunters Pest Control

Chris has been coming to our house in Ferndale for almost two years, always top-notch. This is the first year we've had persistent carpenter ants, first noticed when it was still cooler weather. But then I recently discovered what I thought might be "a nest" outside, so I called the office in a panic (thank you Chloe!) Chris came right out and zapped em good. He really went the extra mile to make sure our outdoor kitties were safe & secure beforehand. I can't imagine how spread-thin they must be responding to calls, with warm weather having kicked in so quickly. But he's always patient and thorough. It does not go unnoticed!

Mice problem was immediately improved.

A young man came and sprayed and laid a mouse trap under the sink. He was only here for about 20 minutes and did not spray in the living room or other areas of the house. He said he sprayed around the exterior of the house but he was only out there for about 5 minutes. I asked him how he could have sprayed in such a short time, he just said he did and left it at that. A week or two later and we were still seeing bugs, so I called to complain. I found out that the young man was "the owner's son" (twice I was told this, as if it should matter somehow?) and that the owner would call me. The owner did call me and said he would have the office call to schedule a re-spray since customer satisfaction was important to him. I didn't hear anything for a week. I left a review sharing my story and the very next day got a call from the office scheduling an appointment to respray. The owner and his son came out today (without any equipment, which surprised me). I invited them in and described the experience to the owner with his son there. The son admitted he didn't spray the living room and other areas but claimed it was because it was "too cluttered" to spray... Our living room was not cluttered at all and other areas only had boxes since we had literally just moved in two weeks ago when he was there. I invited the owner to come take a look to see but he refused, then started insulting me, saying that he could tell I would not be happy so he was refusing a re-spray or refund. It says right here that they "guarantee elimination" yet he told me at the door today that their spray can only get 75-90% elimination. Every other pest control company I have dealt with in the past had a 100% guarantee, for a limited time. This was just a horrible experience and I cannot recommend this pest control service since they did a bad job and when I informed them of such, they insulted me and refused to make it right. I believe having family in the business is clouding the owner's judgement and anyone considering this service should be aware of what is going on there.

Rick came out, on time, even calling to let us know he was on his way. We talked about the problem we had with wasps. They appeared to be going into cracks in the front peaked area of our roof rim. He took the time to spray all around the edge and overhang of the house, all around the house, and used two types of wasp killer spray. Although the wasps continued to fly around the area, Rick assured me that within two days the wasps would be gone. He thoroughly explained the process and how the toxin acted on the wasps once they came in contact with it they took it to the nests, even if the nest was inside the roof (which was our biggest concern). The next day, about 90% of the wasps were gone, no more clustering at the roof peak or nearby areas. By the second day we saw NO wasps except a few flying by, but none hanging around the house. Rick had said to call if we still saw them after the second day, but there was no need. Rick was polite, efficient and a nice guy. He explained a lot of the nature of his business, what to expect and our concerns about the safety of the bug spray if our dog or cat came into contact with it. He assured us the spray is pet, human and food safe. Thank you for taking care of our wasp problem! And kudos to Rick for his professionalism and knowledge and courtesy!

I had a problem with flying ants in the house. Bug Hunters Pest Control came out quickly and treated the area and all around the out side of the house. They arrived on time and were very professional. I have not had any problems since they treated the house.

Sprained wasp hive

The service was great. I left a message and they got right back to me, scheduled my appointment and then called when they were on their way to my house. They were professional and efficient. They explained exactly what they would do to treat the problem, and let me know how long it would take, as well as how long it would take to see the results. The information was spot-on. They also told me that if the problem wasn't solved, to give them a call back and that they would re-treat without further charge. The yellow jackets are gone, the service work that I needed to have done is being completed and I'm a happy home-owner. I will be scheduling regular service with Bug Hunters for next spring and summer. Thank you Bug Hunters!

These guys are fantastic! Very friendly, professional and knowledgable. The only bugs I've seen since they sprayed are DEAD bugs. They took care of bees, ants and spiders in one visit. Very pleased and have already recommended them to friends!

They were prompt, courteous, professional and followed-up the intial visit when they said they would. I requested an additional service which they advised against as it would not be effective. I appreciated their honesty and explanation and will definitely use their services again.
