TUFF SHED INC - Helena

Do not pay for a TuffShed and expect any sort of timely response or delivery. You will be ignored. I ordered my TuffShed online in October 2021. I received a few documentation emails, but then never received a call to schedule delivery. I called repeatedly over the next 8 months and was given all sorts of excuses: the company shut down for winter, they don't deliver due to high winds (there was no wind), they don't have any installers, there is flooding somewhere else in my state (Montana). An installation crew finally came to install my shed on July 14th, eight and a half months after the order was placed. The installers were sent out without all the materials. They did not have the siding I ordered. They installed what they could and left me with a shed with no siding or paint. After several more calls, another crew was sent out to install siding. They were send with the wrong siding. They left after installing two panels of the wrong siding. I've called repeatedly to schedule completion of my shed. I've talked to Ariana and Gus. Multiple times they have scheduled the completion, but no one has shown up. I've called and been told they don't know why no one showed up. I've called and left messages and never received a call back. I have an unpainted partially sided shed that I ordered nearly a year ago and TuffShed is simply blowing off the scheduled install dates and not returning my calls.

We went into the Helena location in July and picked out a shed to be built. We were told 8-10 weeks from time of order, so we put $1800.00 down that day. We were told we would receive updates along the build, and to expect our shed in late August, early Sept. By mid Sept, we still had no shed, no updates so I began attempting to communicate with them by calling their office, leaving voicemails, contacting their FB page, and sending emails asking about our shed. I got no response for 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, I finally had a salesman call me back to tell me that Covid had slowed production, and that we were scheduled for November 26th. I patiently awaited Nov 26th, and took the day off work, only to have no shed delivered and no notice given. I called Tuff Shed, and spoke to a man named Alex(?), who claimed he was the new manager and attempting to get the scheduling conflicts under control. I explained that so far, we were months beyond the original delivery date, had received no communication, and lost days at work due to the unprofessional way they conduct business. Alex apologized, and said that he could guarantee we have the shed delivered the first week of December. I stressed to him again that we were taking days off to accommodate delivery, and he assured me no further delays or poor communication. We settled on Dec 8th @8:30am. My fiance took the day off work so someone would be home for delivery. On the delivery date, she called me at 1pm, saying she had received no call and no delivery of the shed had arrived. I called Alex, who told me he was going to have to reschedule. When I pointed out there had been no communication, and that we again had lost paid days at work to be there, I got a disinterested apology. I told him I was tired of the lack of professionalism and the constant lying about delivery dates and asked how I go about getting my refund. Alex told me that since it had been past 120 days from order, if I wanted my money back, it would take 8-12 weeks. I pointed out that it was past that deadline only through their unprofessional behavior and inability to meet their given delivery dates, and was told that didn't matter. I told him I wanted the shed canceled and an email confirmation of the cancelation and refund request. I was told I'd have it within a few days. We are now nearly 2 weeks beyond that and I've not gotten any email confirmation or refund information. This company is the most disorganized, unaccountable company I've ever worked with. Stay away, unless you wish to be lied to, and not see your money again. Very disappointed.
