It went poorly. The initial granite was flawed with significant pitting across all surfaces which hadn't been filled or otherwise finished for installation. It may have been too flawed for use as kitchen granite but we had been led to believe some pitting was normal and it could be appropriately filled. After several visits of filling the many pits and after a few months from the initial installation, the company agreed to replace the granite. The second order was better quality but installation problems persisted, included poorly fitting granite with gaps between the wall and tops that are too wide to install many styles of back splash and an island top that was smaller than the first top installed, causing problems with wood trim work as now is there no overlap. In addition, there were a few spots along the cut edges that had relatively large chunks broken, requiring the company to return and repair. Again, these were things we had to alert them of and things we would have expected a quality installer to have spotted before ever leaving the job. Through the entire process, reps from the company made us feel like they were doing us a favor whenever they were dealing with the numerous issues we alerted them to, were difficult to get calls back from and generally gave less than good service. The company replaced the original tops and we give them credit for that, but the problems within the company get to basic customer service and quality of workmanship.
