+ -1 moreCould not be more pleased. Excellent work, attention to detail. Trees selected have done very well. Have received compliments on the landscaping around the trees. Fenced in structure for our raised bed has performed flawlessly and is standing up well to the weather here. He also had some suggestions on some path work we did that has maintained the natural look we wanted and is weathering well. The deck work he did is also holding up very well and looks great.
Description of Work: Added some trees, landscaping around the trees; did some deck work; build a 12x12 deer fenced enclosure for our 4x4 raised bed garden

Description of Work: In 2013 I contracted Philip Engel to redo the landscaping around my condo. This cost around $13,000. This year (2014) he came back to check and make sure the landscaping he put in last year was doing ok without charging me extra. He even trimmed back the landscaping and did not charge for this service. I always recommend him to people looking for a professional landscaper. He is the best there is.

The contractor (Philip) kept me informed every step of the way on what was being done based upon our written agreement that we came up with prior to this job. I am so please with his work and how it looks. I have received several compliments from neighbors about this landscaping job. Philip is a Montana Registered Contractor and insured which is another reason why I hired him. I would recommend Philip to anyone else looking for a top-notch landscaper. Helena, Montana is very lucky to have Philip who can do this kind of work and do it well.
Description of Work: Re-did the landscaping around my condo that included: Moving irrigation lines and installing new sprinkler heads to avoid having them within the rock and concrete curbing area Replaced wooden curbing with concrete curbing Replaced river rock with rock that matches color of the house Installed fabric before placing new rock around condo Price included bushes, shrubs, trees based upon drawing agreed to by me and the contractor Contractor re-did landscaping in an area located a few feet in front of the house- included new rocks, concrete boarder, added a few more shrubs & cut down aspen tree that was diseased Replaced all drip lines and placed them around the new plants
