Service is excellent - prompt, reliable, reasonably priced, and friendly service. We purchased an 1880s duplex ten years ago, and it came with a yard sprinkler system with only about 1/2 of it functional. We had several companies take a look and suggest what we should do to make the system totally functional and they suggested total replacement. Ralph (Herrin Water Systems) said he could fix and add on to the existing system and his bid was very reasonable - much less than total replacement. The system was made servicable again with repairs and extended with a few additions; and Herrin has respond to calls to fix or replace sprinkler heads as the old ones give up the ghost or a sprinkler head is bumped. Every year since, Herrin also closes down our system in the fall and starts it up in the spring. Finally, our old controller was not functioning properly; using used parts, Ralph fixed the old controller as new replacement parts were not available. Finally, the old controller gave out and Herrin replaced the controller and everything works well.

Several years ago Ralph and his crew tracked down the breaks, made the repairs, and replaced our old model Rain Bird which had failed. And since then, they have maintained our system for us. They are responsive, efficient, pleasant to work with, and do a great job.

We are very satisfied with the work and with the responsiveness of Ralph Price and his team. After two assessment meetings to look over the existing system to initially identify problems, the work was scheduled. A crew of four did the work, they were focused on finding and fixing breaks in the piping and replacing sprinkler heads. From the initial contact with Ralph to completing the work took one week - very responsive; communicated well about problems and solutions; did what needed to be done-did not recommend more than was needed; and above all were easy to communicate with. We have asked them to help maintain the system and come back in the Spring to see if additional replacement heads might be a good idea and make adjustments to improve coverage. of planting beds
