+ -1 moreThe technician who answered the phone thought he could possibly fix it, and I should bring it in. He met me at my car, carried it in, made sure I had an alternate source for supplemental oxygen, said his mother used oxygen, and promised to get to it right away. It was ready the next day, and the handle worked just as it had when new. I found the same friendly help and kindness then and the price, for which he apologized, was their minimum workshop charge--probably less than I would have paid otherwise in shipping, let alone repairs. They made the whole experience easy and comfortable for a very inexperienced machine shop customer.
Description of Work: I had an unusual problem. My very expensive portable oxygen concentrator had been dropped and the handle could no longer be unfolded for use. I could not afford to be without it for the six+ weeks it would take to pack it up and ship it somewhere for repair. Since the problem was entirely mechanical, I was hoping a machine shop could help.
