Description of Work: We had a very large damaged tree in a fenced backyard with limited access. The crew from Dukes safely and efficiently removed the tree, cleaned up and the price was reasonable and fair. We were impressed with the equipment and the professionalism of the team. Would definitely recommend.

Description of Work: After several calls, they came to house and provided estimate but never followed up after we had agreed to the estimate. Never set a firm date to do the work. Sort of, "whenever we can fit you in whether that works for you or not" WE were unable to keep one of the proposed dates (at the last minute), see. We were unable to agree on a fill-in date, and called to tell them that that date would not work and never heard from them again.

Description of Work: It took me three attempts to finally get in contact with these guys. Then after scheduling appointment for appraisal, they did not show. They rescheduled but then did not show the 2nd time. I would not recommend these guys to anyone.

 + -1 moreWe needed to trim a large Mountain Ash tree. I called Duke late on Thursday August 13th, and requested an estimate. He arrived at the appointed time the next day. I explained what was needed. He went out to examine the tree, took several pictures with his cell phone. After he explained what it would cost to do what I'd asked, he then suggested that some revisions would be more economical in the long run, and give the tree a better look, and prevent having to do more work on it in the future. I liked his idea, and we scheduled the job for the following Thursday, August 20th. As it turned out, he had a cancellation on the 19th, so he and his crew did the work mid morning. They did a Spectacular Job! The tree looks great, there was no debris on the ground. They were fast, efficient, and extremely professional. On a scale of 1 to 10, they're definitely a 10, and I have no problem recommending them to anyone who is in need of their services.
Description of Work: An absolutely terrific job of turning an old ugly Mountain Ash into a beautiful and stately tree.

 + -1 moreWe called Duke Tree Service initially to remove an old growth tree as it was overgrown and there was a great amount of dead limbs. He came out and quoted us a better rate than the other service so we chose to go with him. They began by removing the old dead growth closest to the ground which allowed us to see that the tree could be saved. He talked through all of that with us and with his knowledge of how to shape and trim the tree we were able to save a tree that I am sure is well over 100 years old. He and his crew are knowledgeable, professional and personable. He changed his price accordingly and we are more than happy with the work his team did for us.
Description of Work: Trimmed back a huge old overgrown tree saving it from destruction.
