He was great. He came over on his busiest day because he was in the area. We called several different business and he was one of them. he wasnt able to come on that same day, but he came the next day. We were under the assumption that we had to change heaters which is very expensive. When Ryan came over he immediately started checking the stove to see if anything was wrong with it. Then he lit the stove up for us and we talked to him about the stack. He went and got the parts, came back and put the parts on along with did some patching for us. When we found out that our heater in the basement was having an issue with the pilot light going out all the time. Then the Energy Service man came out and said the stove was old and after a few attempts, said he could not light it, it needed to be replaced.I began making appointments with several local heating and cooling businesses, to come over and see what they could do for my stove and or what a new stove would cost to install. We had, had several businesses come over, they had all taken pictures of our heating stove, measured, checked the stove pipe outside the house and said they would get me a quote, not one of them looked over my stove and tried to start it. Each of these people were pressing to put in duct work or one gas heating stove upstairs and one downstairs, when money and room were all draw backs. These bids came in at a minimum of $3,000.00, more than we cold afford, even with payments.Ryan Sutheimer came a few days later, since he had appointments. When he came, I filled him in about what we were experiencing with it and the pilot going out, just like I did with all the other gentlemen.I told him that our heater, easily heated the whole house, with a fan blowing heat upstairs at times of sever cold, register ducts cut in rooms upstairs and turning on a electric wall heater during those times.Ryan went to work, immediately looking over the stove, once he said that everything looked to be just fine, pulled out a small lighter and lit the stove right up.We discussed the pilot going out, telling him about a special cap we had just learned about, for the stove pipe cap, he said if we wanted one, he would go get it and put it on that day and he did. While patching around the stove pipe up on the roof, he infomred me of some holes in the roofing, said he patched them, but it will not last for long. Once all was said and done, it cost me $200.00, I was very satisfied with his this amount, he had gone beyond the call of duty for us.I told Ryan that obviously he was taught the old school ways, because not one other person who came over to our home about the heater, ever looked at the stove or tried to light it.The other companies wanted to sell us a new heater, knowing we don't have the $3,000.00 or more that it would have cost.Ryan was told that he was appreciated so much when the heater started up and it was music to my ears.I thanked Ryan for listening to the problem and fixing it, for an amount we could afford. The second call to Ryan, weeks later, was when the pilot went out and we needed it lit.The night before, I told the office, just let them know our pilot was out and if Ryan was in the area or at the end of his day, could he please come over and lite it.Ryan called that early afternoon, came in and checked the stove out again, cleaned the burner a little, lit it and headed out on the rest of his day.I asked him how much, he said No Charge.Ryan will be called, if we need any type of work he does, whether it is working on our old heater, cleaning our gas heaters or to replace this stove, when it comes to that.Ryan Sutheimer - Owner, was who came to our home from:"All Temp Heating Cooling, Installation and Repairs"Becka will take your call at the Office: 406-449-6644
