gas leak repair

Description of Work: I had a smell of propane in my kitchen although a leak had already been repaired by the propane serviceman. I suspected that there was another small leak somewhere in the stove or nearby, perhaps in the crawlspace. I called Johnson appliance and the man came out even though they didn't come to my area usually on that weekday. The serviceman couldn't smell any propane, although I still could, but he looked everywhere for another leak, even going into the crawlspace. He didn't find any other leaks, either, but charged me only the basic service charge, and even apologized for that.

+ -1 moreI contacted Johnson Appliance when my electric oven started making a strange sound. The person answering the call was very pleasant, and promised to have someone contact me. After several days, I received a call, described the problem and said where I live (about 50 miles away.....but we always pay for travel time). I mentioned that the sound made me think something was wrong with the fan. The technician who called let me know that I couldn't possibly diagnose anything. He asked for the model & said he'd research the problem. After two weeks of hearing nothing, I called again. Five days later, I received a return call. He said that after a lot of research, he'd determined that the problem was the fan (BIG surprise!!), and that he would have to order a part. Two weeks later, I called and learned that he'd not yet ordered the part, and that it would require two men to lift out the double wall oven......so he would call me back. A couple of weeks later, after absolutely no call back, I contacted another appliance repair company (75 miles away -- they aren't easy to find in this very rural spot). Alan, from Bitterroot Appliance Repair, ordered the part, came out to repair the oven, found the problem and provided excellent service.
Description of Work: NO SERVICES WERE PERFORMED. The Company simply wouldn't schedule a date or call me back.
