Description of Work: I would highly recommend them. They put other contractors to shame. They came when expected with a very competent crew. Everyone worked very efficiently and contentious. They cleaned up after themselves which I rarely see anymore. Thanks Dennis, for a Job well done!

Description of Work: Superior product, superior provider. From the bid process to the installation of all new 3-pane windows and seemless steel log cabin siding (along with 2 additional layers of insulation), Dennis and his workers provided consistent communication and superior service. Constant clean-up as they went (you'd swear they had trash cans attached to their hands) and always ready for undiscovered minor repair issues beneath the previous siding. They found solutions instead of making excuses. They offered great ideas for solving the multitude of minor issues typically discovered during a project of this size. (December 15-March 30) They also put us in touch with other quality contractors to remove a deck, install a patio, add overhangs to our roof (a former "Cape Cod" style with zero overhang) and get a steel roof installed as well. Can't recommend them highly enough. The crew was always respectful and better yet - always seemed to be having a great time, They love what they do. No issues!

Description of Work: I own a home in Hamilton, MT which is a rental. It was in need of new siding all the way around and a paint job. In the spring of 2012, I started researching what type of siding to get: conventional, vinyl, steel, etc. I got some estimates and the best conventional siding - the Hardie Plank Fiber-Cement type would have cost over $21400.00, and, this did not include painting. This type siding would need to be repainted periodically. I called Dennis of D&N siding and had him come out to the home and talk to me about steel or vinyl siding. I had Dennis discuss with me the merits of these types of siding and make measurements of the home and give me an estimate. This estimate, although still pricy, was $3000 cheaper than the estimates for conventional siding. It became apparent to me that getting steel siding would be the way to go since I could chose just about any color scheme I wanted, and, the siding would not need to be repainted. An added bonus was learning that a layer of insulation was placed under the steel siding before it was put on. I decided to award D&N with the job with plans to have it done in early summer, as D&N's schedule allowed. We would shoot for mid June if possible. I visited Dennis at his shop and was able to look at all the different styles of steel siding, check out the colors, etc. and within a week I had made my choices. I made a down payment of 20% of the total on 3/21/12 with contract to pay off the remaining 80% owed when work was completed. D&N was able to start the project on 6/21/2012 and it was completed within a week of that time.

Description of Work: The owner (Dennis) arrived on time to look at & measure for 3 windows in my 61 year old home. All were single pane & did not open. He measured all openings. He sat down among my cluttered desk & did the quote. His price was very fair & included far more for my money than I had originally planned, such argon filled & weather wrap on exterior trim. My husband & I agreed without pressure & he would only accept a check for 20% down. On install day the owner & his son showed up completely prepared & on time. Each window took about an hour - remarkable! They cleaned up & left no trace that they were ever there except the new windows themselves, plus the added weather protection to the exterior. The balance was exactly as quoted.

Description of Work: I had Dennis replace 3 windows. Trimmed inside and out. Replace a door. Install closet systems.
