Very bad, gave him half money up front which I agreeded on and then a week later work stopped for about 3 weeks, then after they finally poured the cement he told me that instead of the foundation being 35,000 he charged me 59,000. theny he needed 28,000 more for materials and I gave it to him then worked stopped for about a month, then lied to me saying trusses were ordered and I called the truss company 3 weeks later and they wernt ordered, finally got the trusses and they sat on the ground for 3 more weeks until I threatened them. then they finally got them put up and now he said he was done with the job. so now I have to borrow more money to get my shop done. and by the way the truss company told me that they were going to put a lein on my shop because he hasn't paid them. Very unhappy with this crappy company.

Response from Total Construction
I realize this response is coming very late and accusations [Member Name Removed] brought against Total Construction LLC have since been resolved. However, these reviews stay out here, and we feel it’[Member Information Removed] necessary to show the facts of the situation. A contract was submitted and agreed upon between [Member Name Removed] and Total Construction LLC on 9-7-17 when a down payment was received. The agreement was to build a 40X80 shop with a mono slab floor. Both parties agreed that [Member Name Removed] would pay cash for the $87, 000 (bank loan) and paint three vehicles for the remainder due. It’[Member Information Removed] important to note that the average sqft cost in 2017 was $111, this would have made the shop (turnkey) worth $355,200. Substantially more than what he was being charged. Once the job started [Member Name Removed] wanted the location changed taking it from flat ground to on a hill. [Member Name Removed] was aware by making this change it would require us to have footings and walls, adding a significant price increase due to a lot more concrete and man hours. [Member Name Removed] and Total Construction LLC have a past history with payment not being received. To avoid this from happening again payment per phase was requested upfront. During this project [Member Name Removed] would send threatening text and call screaming at us. Total Construction LLC decided to terminate the contract due to harassment, and refused last payment of $15,000. [Member Name Removed] paid $71,500 total to get dried in. None of the vehicles were ever painted either.

When we returned home the neighbor taking care of the house for us stated that they roofed over the old shingles on the double garage not doing the tear off as stated in our contract. After a few calls they offered to discount the $4500.00 garage roof by $300.00 for not tearing off the old shingles. After a meeting with the owner Ross Rambo and his sister they offered $600.00. When we refused they became angry and threatened us with a lien and told us we better hire a lawyer and stated they would not be doing anything further on that roof. Wow if you have silver hair, these people think you are an easy target. How sad.
Description of Work: I signed a contract to have them tear off and re-roof the house and detached garage. They knew I was going to be out of town for an extended time in Oct-Nov when they came to do the work.

Response from Total Construction
We do not in anyway feel elderly are a target. We in fact go out of our way to help said individuals. To set the facts straight everything done on this property was done correctly. The customer was on vacation and our decision was made to save the customer money. They had been pulling apart the estimate to cut down cost in the beginning, so we felt they would appreciate it. It was not a choice that voided any warranty. The city, manufacturer of the shingles and Total Construction LLC all stand by their warranty. Nothing unethical was done. Additionally, we never left them hanging. They ware always taken care of promptly. When they got home she was very upset because the satellite dish wasn't working. We didn't do anything with the satellite dish but still helped in solving the problem. They had water coming in around the chimney and stained a couple ceiling tiles from years prior (this being what required the roof replacement). They did not want us to flash the chimney. They asked that we just caulk it in to save money. We didn't recommend they skip the flashing as our warranty wouldn't cover if it leaked (would most likely leak). They just wanted it caulked in. When it leaked we came back and fixed it anyway. When they refused to pay us we said we would have to put a lien on the project. After months of back and forth the attorney'[Member Information Removed] agreed we did nothing wrong and monies were owed.
