Description of Work: He worked with a young architect I hired to design and build a house in a grain bin. It was an interesting and challenging project and Tom was great in coordinating and accomplishing the task. He was easy to communicate with and has a positive upbeat personality which helped smooth the rough spots in construction. I am an artist and had lots of my personal touches I wanted to add to the project. Tom could not have been more patient and helpful. He helped make my dream come true and yes I would hire him again.

+ -1 moreAs mentioned above, everyone working with and for Tom was not only professional but cheerful as all heck. We refer to them as and quot;Tom and his merry menand quot;. They began by demolishing the old walls and jack hammering the concrete floor. Everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. We were advised and asked our opinions all steps os the way, which we really appreciated. The water and electricity were never off for more than an hour, allowing us to use the upstairs bathroom. They moved the main stack and the main drain, no easy tasks. Then they installed the heated floor wires and tiled the floors, the shower walls, floor and ceiling and tiled waistcoting around the room. The granite vanity appears to and quot;floatand quot; on the wall. The room was painted and new lighting and vent fans installed. And the doorway was widened (something we had not even thought about) so that as we age the room is easily accessed. The work was done in a timely, if not instantly done and we never heard a hard word among any of the many workers. Hey, I'm a fan, and very happy.
Description of Work: tom skovron builders completely gutted the basement bathroom and built the bathroom of Scott's design and dream. We went from a 6' 8" ugly, old, cramped water closet to what is now a stunningly beautiful bath with walk in shower and steam room feature. Every sub contractor Tom has chosen is very good and ever so cheerful. They pulled down the walls, cut a new shower pan in the concrete floor, moved the stack and the main drain, installed heated floor, new tile, beautiful granite shower bench and vanity, installed all new plumbing, i.e. toilet, faucet, shower and diverter, and installed a steam unit and vents and fan and installed glass wall and door for the shower. They painted the walls and installed a new wider door making it a handicap friendly room.
