When Matt used his laser level he found my forms were as much as 3/8" off, he marked all my poles so I could readjust my form and he pointed out a couple of form that were warped and needed straightening. My gravel base was not as level as he liked so for an additional $200 dollars he brought his bobcat in and finished the job. He, very nicely, pointed out a couple of re-bar that needed additional ties. My point here is even though I preformed a lot of the pre-prep work he was very though inspecting my work too made sure I got it up to his standards. Monday morning at 7am Matt and crew (he had 6 worker bees) showed up, *am the cement trucks started to arrive (it took 3 loads) and by 9:30am all the cement was poured. During this whole process you could tell these guy new what they were doing, at no time was any one standing around or leaning on a shovel, no one had to be told what to do the process was continuously moving. You could tell this team worked well together and new what they were doing. After the cement was poured Matt and company spent the next 5-6 hours leveling and smoothing the cement. What I now have is a smooth (you can see your reflection) and level 48'x48' concrete pad.My neighbor recommended Matt to me and he said the guy was a perfectionist ( i believe the term he used was "anal"), my neighbor was right and I got a beautiful job, at a very good price , completed on schedule and all were very professional, what more could you ask for?My only recommendation is if you hire Matt and you plan on doing some of the work your self be prepared to do it right.
Description of Work: I am building a 48'x48' pole barn shop. I leveled the lot, set the forms , put down 27 sq yds of gravel base and laid the re-bar. Mat and his crew were to do a final inspection to verify everything was level, order the concrete, pour the concrete, finish leveling and seal.
